I took my dog to the vets on monday. I was informed she needed an urgent operation that would cost in the region of £1000. I work full time, receive no benefits and I'm a single mum. This news floored me as I love my pet with all my heart but just don't have that sort of money available to me. Ultimately it would of meant her being put to sleep. I came home and rang around to see if there was another option available to me. I spoke to the animal trust in failsworth. They saw her the same day, and she was operated on yesterday, and is now recovering well at home. The price I actually paid was £325 for the same operation, including also having a mass removed from her head. These guys are amazing. Why can other veterinary surgeons get away with charging extortionate prices, are these really pet lovers or just profit makers make your own minds up. You don't need to be on benefits to be seen by the animal trust they see everyone so support these guys and their charity because they are all amazing and a non profit organisation.

I have had frequent problems with this practice, for my aged diabetic cat who nearly died due to their incompetence supplying me with the wrong syringes for his insulin.He was getting very poorly, when I had a consultation vet wanted to run a series of bloods for a different problem . I eventually found what the problem was when I noted the syringes were marked 100u instead of 40u. He'd been getting the wrong dose of insulin for 4 to 5 weeks. Staff when told did not see the gravity of the situation.

Sadly we had to take our beloved Rottweiler to be put to sleep, the vet and staff member could not have done anything better. It was done with such care and compassion and the vet was very reassuring, it's clear that they really care, we also received a lovely card through from them, saying sorry for our loss. Fantastic vets with the right attitude and compassion.

Extremely helpful, professional and efficient service. Helped me with an emergency appointment for a foster dog with patience, understanding and empathy. Both the vet and her receptionist were excellent. Recommended.

The vet was about to weigh my dog when a couple came in & queue jumped & she advised them for about ten minutes whilst holding my dog by his lead. Not to mention that the prices are nearly double what my current vet charges. I won't be returning so you may as well remove my details.

Booked in twice in 2 weeks for vet appointments for our dogs, to be rung up 20 mins before our appointment to say it’s been cancelled cause there’s no vet there! Absolute joke.

Their pet plan is not worth it, it's a good value for the first year when you have lots of visits, after that they'll charge for everything anyway on top of your plan. Can't get through on the phone, rarely any vets available.

Made an emergency appointment to see the vet to get a prescription for ring worm medicine for my cat. Was told this would cost 38 pound to see the vet and 16 for the prescription on the day. After going to appt and seeing the vet was told at the end that prescriptions weren't issued there and would need to wait 7 days for it to be issued! Meaning the whole appointment was a waste of time and seeing the vet (which cant issue prescriptions???) was literally pointless. T
However if I wanted the medicine from the vet there at a massively increased price could have straight away. Obviously making it difficult to get the medication online to make you pay the rediculous prices they wanted to charge. A vet who cares more about money than the welfare of animals should be ashamed and shut Down. Never use this franchise vets and go to literally anywhere else.
