Goudhurst Vets and Equine Clinic

I have nothing but praise for the way Goudhurst Vets and Equine Clinic have treated our cats and dogs. Last week we said goodbye to our senior dog who had lived for several years with a number of health issues but had retained a reasonable quality of life because of the excellent treatment and support she/we received from the vets and nurses at this practice. Your beloved animals couldn't be in better, more capable hands.

Outstanding Vets! Honestly I have been to many vets in the area over many years and this practice stands out for the wonderful care and service they offer to both the owners and their pets. Not my nearest vet by miles but I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else. Whether having puppies, a pedigree with a hock problem or end of life care.... they call to check your animals are on the mend, offer suggestions for care, fit in appointments around you and go out of their way to look after their patients..... if only there was this level of care available to humans! Thank you GV....

The service you would expect when it come to caring for your beloved pet.

Excellent service and reasonably priced. Didn't push into any treatment like some vets I've been to. Vetinary nurses are lovely, knowledgeable and friendly, my 9mth old puppy gets excited going to the vets!! Great healthy pet club scheme.
Just one star off for only being open Saturday mornings, making it difficult for people who work full time - and the out of hours charge is V expensive!

Faultless. Sadly, it was time for my beautiful Airedale to go over the rainbow. I was surrounded by compassion, empathy, kindness and really sound advice. What could so easily have been deeply traumatic became an experience that had peace and tranquility.
I've only ever had positive experiences in their care of all three dogs.

I didn’t lose my cat, his life was taken by the vet surgeon. She took him away as soon as we got there and I saw him for a minute before she took his life. Refused to do examination in front of me. Wouldn’t leave me with him to say goodbye as she new I would take him to another vet practice for a 2nd opinion. She would only allow an in-house 2nd opinion. She is only one year out of uni and had only been working at Goudhurst vet for 1 month. I begged her not to take his life and said I wouldn’t sign the paper but she said I couldn’t spend time with him until I signed the paper. She is evil. She took his life as soon as my son ran out the room distraught. I was in tears. It’s pure evil to force customers to sign over pets for murder. No due diligence as she was unable to diagnose his eye condition. They also left a sharp bone in my dogs mouth under his tongue after dental surgery and wanted to leave it there to come out on it’s own? Sadistic, over priced vet practice.

Kind, helpful and sympathetic vets and nurses. They were honest about the effectiveness of any treatment if my dog was to undergo it and pointed me in the direction of a company that would make his last moments peaceful and at home.
Only a star taken off for the cost, but that is the same with all vets.
