Chestnut Vets

Always take great care of our pets (have had 2 dogs and a cat at this practice over the course of 10 years). Today they were able to accommodate our dog in last minute. Staff are very personable.

Since COVID, they have good structure in place to minimise risk (screens on reception, sheltered cover outside to protect from rain).

They use RVC as an out of hours vet who are exceptionally good also.

We used to love taking our cats to see Angus, who passed away shortly after retirement and latterly Paul, who died tragically young last year. Two caring and compassionate partners of the practice who went above and beyond in pet care. Be nice if there was room for a tribute page to them on the website.
Julia is another great vet who continues in that tradition

reception staff are lovely and very helpful, the consultation fee is very expensive be warned. we visited and saw the vet for approx 5 mins, no treatment just chit chat £57 later and 8mins later walked through the door.

Absolutely fantastic vets. The staff are all wonderful. They also offer the key hole spay surgery which is what made me leave my old vets. This vets is like day and night. Chestnuts highlighted how poor my old vets was. I cannot fault the staff and practice at all. I would recommend to everyone.
