The Pet Clinic

We have been taking our dog to The Pet Clinic (Writtle, Blackmore and Billericay) for the last two years and have always found them to be helpful, professional and caring. Emergency care on site is a big plus. The animal is put first and they have never encouraged us to have unnecessary diagnostic tests - in fact, the opposite - often reassuring us when we have been worried as first time dog owners, and their judgement has been right every time.

This vet practice provides out of hours cover (in Blackmore), the only one locally that I know does it, the rest have outsourced it. Unfortunately I had to use this several times with my old dog. Having to find a practice the other side of Chelmsford with a seriously sick dog would have added to my stress. And the practice had access to her records, and could consult her usual vet. Normally saw Thomas who was really good with her and very kind when she died.

Kind, professional and attentive staff. They have looked after our 2 dogs and we can not praise them enough. Thank you !!

Very helpful receptionist, covid secure. Same day appointment. Lovely nurse who checked my cats microchips. Will use them again when needed. Thank you
