Avonvale Veterinary Centres

I have regularly used Avonvale practices for my dog over the past 9 years. The staff are professional, efficient, helpful and are like friends to us now. They have taken very good care of me and my dog.

I booked an appointment for my dog's annual booster vaccination during lockdown. Anita White and the staff made every effort to keep me and my pet safe whilst administering his innoculaton. They also checked him over during the appointment and gave him a clean bill of health. Highly recommended.

Great experience, every days a school day, explained the procedure clearly so I understood and took great care of my ferret .
I would recommend this practice all day long.

Kind and knowledgeable about hamsters. As a person who did a lot of research before getting a hamster, can confirm that the vet knew about they were talking about and took a very kind approach with my little pet - prescribing meds when needed, not prescribing meds when they felt they didn't have enough evidence about a certain health issue. Very happy to have a good exotic vet near me. Prices have also been fair

All my three cats go here and we are happy with the level of care we receive here. Our cats' favourite vet is Anita, and Anita always looks after them really well. Three cats have their annual jabs here and also their prescriptions for flea and worm treatments. We have used out of hour services a few times (for instance, urinary tract infection, one jab plus one bottle of Metacam ended up costing north of £200).
In terms of routine care, this is not an economical place either, but certainly one of the best in our neighbourhood. Look at how chilled these fur babies are!

I have had great experience with this veterinary centre, even before registering my pets there. They have always been helpful, professional and considerate. I like that there is a small team and things all run smoothly, with appointments on time.
The pricing is very reasonable and the care appears to be top quality. My boy is in for an op next month and i have full confidence he'll be in the best hands.
They have a poster up looking for used stamps to help vale wildlife, I'll add a picture.
