Medivet Esher

Recently had to have my beloved female cat put to sleep . Couldn't ask for nicer reception staff and vets . Gave my boyfriend and I plenty of time to say goodbye to her before and after. It was a heartbreaking evening and they sorted out my pet insurance claim too as I was so upset . 10 /10 from me . Thankyou for being a great vets practice.

The staff are very friendly and a good service too .it's clean and nice too . And in all my appointments I have allways been seen on time have not been kept waiting. Yes I give it 5 stars very happy.😀

Awful experience with this vet. They administered a second vaccine and my pet went painful all over his body and wouldn't eat nor even walk. When I rung up to simply ask if this was normal (as this was never discussed as a potential outcome) I was told my only option was have to come in for a consult and pay another £45 pound. No vet would simply take a call to tell me if this was normal or not. To add to this, I wasn't even told when the next vaccine needed to take place, which seems like critical information to leave out.

From my perspective, this is a business run in a manner that relies on excessive visits to run up consultation fees. Medivet is owned by CVC Capital, a venture capital / private equity firm. Profit is clearly the primary goal of a venture capital backed business.

Also, try calling them before 11am and you'll just be told to call back later....because that's how customer service should work.

I have been using Medivet for many years with different cats and have always received a good service. Their out of hours service is also very efficient.

I was worried about my cat as she had lost weight recently. I was given a same day appointment, had my options clearly explained to me, had blood tests performed and got the results back the same day. The staff were extremely professional and understanding, and I felt comfortable handing over my cat into their care despite not being able to go into the building myself due to Covid restrictions. Luckily all was well, and they promptly processed my insurance claim.

The vet John was brilliant - he saw my rabbit Harry twice (the second time was after hours as an emergency). He quickly advised me that Harry needed emergency care and arranged transfer to the 24 hour vet in Richmond. He also updated me on how Harry was doing the day after he was admitted, which put my mind at ease. Harry is now feeling much better thanks to John and the Medivet team at Esher and Richmond. Thank you very much for all of your help!

The Medivet in Hinchley wood is amazing and was always there through all the lockdowns. The staff are so supportive and friendly and very patient. Louise is an amazing head vet and always comes up with solutions outside the box which are so helpful when you are dealing with my brood! I know that they will fit me when ever they can and when my dog passed away, they allowed him to be put to sleep in the car on my lap , surrounded by his other pack members and he went so peacefully. It is little touches like that, that mean the world to someone like me who loves their dogs unconditionally and only wants the best for them.

I have been a customer with Medivet for over 15 years and have always been happy with the level of customer service, professional advice, treatment, and care for all of my animals. They have adapted brilliantly during the COVID-19 pandemic and have continued to provide a high level of service and support. The vet team clearly explain the options and details of each examination and all the staff are helpful and friendly in person and on the phone. I can't recommend them enough.
