Where do you start. Our first crisis was Mischa's 1st Cruciate injury and was a huge learning curve as never heard of it till she became lame. Well Steve operated and after physio & hydrotherapy we had our girl back and healthy. So thanks Steve. Sadly other cruciate went 3 years on, so more ops and physio from me learnt 1st time round we got thru and have our active girl back and been living normal active life since age 11. Priory also saved my adorable Bruno when he suffered serious illness (very sick with unknown bug) he was hospitalised for a while til he felt better But then started yelling for his mum, so after phone call picked him up late at night and he was very soon back home and old self. I don't think he would have survived without there prompt diagnosis and care.
The most important thing I thank priory for is how they helped with our Suzie on her last day, it was very hard but the lovely nurse made it so special and I will never forget our girl going to the bridge happily eating the treats she gave me to feed her as she went to sleep (eating was her favourite pastime ). I tell everyone it was the best goodbye l have had with any of the dogs l've owned.
We still have Mischa and Bru, plus a little girl recently joined us who has her life ahead with a few little problems, hopefully we will overcome them with help from our vet. It's been lovely remembering the last happy and sad years with the people at Priory. June mum of 3 canine furries
