Really good vet clinic in Islington. We moved inside the area and started going to Zasman later on - I was pleased to see more reasonable prices compared to the precious place, but most importantly - fabulous level of care and professionalism. Staff really know your pet’s name and everyone feels like they care :)

After recently moving to the area I hadn’t had time to register my dog with a vet! However, after unforeseen circumstances I needed an emergency appointment for my dog. Though the team were not taking on any new clients they made the time to see my dog within 15 mins of calling them! They were quick and thorough, and highlighted the issue and the urgency needed to safeguard my dog! My dog was booked in for emergency surgery the following morning! The team at Zasman Vet were so lovely and compassionate of my circumstance and were able to safeguard the health of my dog who I’ve had for 10years! They’ve followed up the next day post her surgery and are being very hands on with her recovery! Just wanted to say a big thank you to the team!

Definitely recommend this Vet service for all your precious pets!

What a great find, from the friendly receptionist, to the clean facility (well, mine shed enough white fur to mess that up), to the caring vet. I won't go so far as to say the kitties loved the experience, but Alana let them roam around the exam room, an adventure as big as taking the Uber there.

Zasman vet islington has the best stuff and has always given my two chow chows - Zoe and Kira the best treatment whenever we go there. They always ensure my dogs are given the best and both my dogs have anxiety issues especially if they’re in enclosed areas and the staff at Zasman are so calming and loving to them. They have also ensured my dogs issues are seen to as soon as possible. Thank you for everything you guys do!

I've been taking my cat here since I got him two years ago. The vets are always caring and attentive. Recently had to take the cat in for a small injury and they sorted him right out. I appreciated the service and care. The only downside is that vet can be bills high and even more so in Islington. I always worry what the cost will be for this very necessary care but there's no way of knowing how much it's going to cost to get my cat the care he needs when he needs it.

I have now had 2 bad experiences with this surgery and branch.

Although the the actual vets and one reception lady is lovely, the other was not.

My most recent experience my dog had been sick and we rushed him to Kensington 24 hour practice, to where I was told it could cost between £1000-1500 for him to stay over night and do blood tests. I pay £50 a month pet insurance so I am able to direct claim, but I was told I’d need to pay half. So I decided I would take him home and keep him hydrated myself and take him to medivet liverpool road the next day, I rang in the morning obviously stressed, I am young and this is my first time I have had an ill pet and ever had an insurance claim, I explained to the receptionist I didn’t have the money up front for this, and asked about being released if he still needed to be kept in to Beaumont animal hospital (they would only see him if this was the case as we had already taken him to Kensington Medivet the night before) to which the receptionist told me well everyone knows having a pet is a luxury and really you should have this money upfront. I couldn’t believe it. At a time where I was so stressed and wanted reassurance I had a receptionist telling me in so many words because I am not rich and can’t afford their extortionate prices I have no place in having my dog? So so wrong. She shouldn’t work in a vet if she doesn’t have basic customer care skills.

I have since told the vet about this and she has said she will have a word.

But I do also want to add no other vet has ever wanted to charge such an amount, I have lots of family dogs who have gone to other vet surgeries like Beaumont Animal Hosptial, Blue Cross, Vet 4 Pets and they charge around 1/4 of what Kensington wanted to charge me which is disgusting. I do not live in Kensington and couldn’t believe this was the only option. No one else would see me as well because I am registered to medivet, so once my dog is better and finished his treatment I will be changing vets main reason being due to rude members of staff but also the expensive prices in such a cost of living crisis. It seems like people are better of being on benefits because they will be seen to quicker and everything is discounted.

I really have to thank the absolutely amazing team here. My cat had been poorly with no clear diagnosis as to what made him ill. They took me in last minute when most other standard practice vets, including my regular, couldn’t. He was seen almost immediately and given the best care to keep him comfortable and get to the bottom of what was wrong with him. They were experienced and thorough without being overly excessive. Lastly, they are true and true animals lovers, they cared deeply for my boy Theo, every single one of the 4-5 doctors, nurses and assistants that saw him and helped. I’m happy to say after a rough few days, he has bounced back after his treatment this morning and is almost back to his old playful and joyful self. Thank you so much team. Happy Christmas. Hannah & Theo.

Absolutely Disgusting, we went in with my cats tail being cut and slightly infected, I was told I had no option but to amputate otherwise my cat would die from the infection, and was going to be charged £1500 for the operation. We also got charged £100 for the consultation in which they didn't shave the tail or clean the wound to further examine it or anything.

Luckily I went to PDSA where they shaved her tail, cleaned out the wound and told me that she would be fine as long as we had her cone on and kept her inside with medication.

She is now fine and her tail is fully healed but I'm disgusted that this vet would amputate so unnecessarily, without any real reasoning or further examination, simply to grab as much cash as possible. like I said they told me there was NO other alternative and she would die otherwise, and that was quite clearly a lie.

blow I attached a photo of her pre and post consultation
