Vets4Pets - Hucknall

Really disappointed with the service, rang up for some practical advice on whether my dog should be seen as as she had some concerning symptoms. Wasn't given any information other than they can book me an appointment for 4/5 days later. When I asked the lady on reception if It sounded like anything to worry about she just kept repeating ‘I can’t advise unfortunately’ I know this isn’t the norm as I previously worked at a different Vets4pets and we would always ask for the vets opinion and try to advise best we could. I know how booked up vets are at the moment but to not offer any advice other than an appointment 5 days later is not good enough. I came in March for my dogs booster and she was barely even checked over, (expected them to check her teeth, eyes, ears etc) which due to working in a practice before I know this isn’t the norm. I’ve been forced to move vets.

Cannot fault this vets. My pup Ralph has been going since we got him and they have been really amazing, we have complete care plan and they are always so helpful, caring and knowledgeable. We had an emergency and had to rush him in and they were absolutely amazing and I couldn't have asked for better. Lastly he had an op today and they were again brilliant. They are a fab team who really care about their patients and their owners.

The practice is lovely and clean with a separate area for cats and small animals which I think is a fantastic idea, the receptionist was lovely and friendly, I didn’t need to wait long as our dog really doesn’t like visiting the vet and gets very upset, the vet was friendly and was easy to talk to.

Really bad service. Rude staff who go out their way to get as much money as possible for their services and medication.

Lovely welcome and staff professional and friendy, I feel my cats Bella and Chester are always liked after , and the prices are half decent aswell, thankyou

Very understanding when my dog threw up in the waiting room.

One thing that is particularly helpful is a separate side for dogs and cats helps keep every one calmer.

Only disappointing thing is that they were out of wormer for months and i didn't get a refund on my monthly subscriptions for wormer and flea treatment. I however think this is a corporate thing rather than a individual store choice
