After going to our normal vet and was told are dog needed surgery and it was going to cost 10 grand. We decided to get a second opinion. We phoned vet after vet and finally come across the ark.. We spoke to Charles and he agreed to see belle, the best decision we made. The surgery was done the week after costing us a fraction of the price, the after care has been brilliant and is still going on. Any concern we have had he has seen her within hours or the next morning. All the staff there have been friendly and helpful. When you go there it does not feel like it's all about the money but the dogs (Or animals) best interest..

We had an emergency with our puppy Dex (10 weeks old). He was unwell and our usual vet was closed. Dr Charles took us in on really short notice and took care of him. Our puppy had a shot and he was like new the following day. Dr Charles even asked us to go back the next day to make sure the treatment is working and didn’t charge us anything for that visit. Thank you ark vet for taking care of us and our puppy!

Lovely staff, very knowledgeable.
Only downside is it's difficult to park. There is a car park nearby, but if you need to carry your pet it's a bit far.

The best vets around. Ark vets is amazing, Charles and his team are on top of everything and really friendly. Fair prices, they don't charge unnecessary costs either. Charles is very knowledgeable and cares about the animals. I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else.

At first I thought this vets was ok staff not that friendly but I assumed it’s a vets they don’t smile or show empathy ? but WOW Charles really did show his true colours when I questioned why my dogs condition was worsening with the steroids he didn’t say let’s switch medicine or examine my dog he basically told me if I don’t like it then go somewhere else ??? (clearly not happy about a woman questioning his authority ) clearly does not give a dam about animals only the money !!! After a second opinion I was right it was the medicine that was prescribed!!

Staff are professional, caring and compassionate. Treat animals and their owners gracefully and help you through difficult times with your pets. Great place to have look a after your beloved pets.

Would give 0 stars if possible, called up on the 4th to ask if they had the versican vaccine for my puppy. Was told they have it and to come in the following day, had the day off work to take him and when I arrived we was told they don’t have that vaccine is despite telling us the day before that they do. Waste of time and money so they said we will order it for Saturday. (Not before we was told “we could start the vaccine again which will mean having to wait another 4 weeks until he can have his second”. When we said no he’s desperate to get outside their reply was “well you can take him out still just keep an eye on him”

What sort of advice is that from a so called vet? Was shocked that was their advice but we arranged to come in today (Saturday) and the vaccine will be there. Went there today (Saturday) and was told “ohh we haven’t even ordered it in”

These people are very bad at their job and can’t organise anything, they clearly don’t care about animals and are only interested in getting as much money as possible. Avoid this vets at all cost, they’re the worst vets I’ve ever come across.

My little dog was had her spay 14 days ago thanks to Charles she had a very easy time, no side effects or issues with the wound just 14 days later you cannot even see the scar due to their technique, internal stitches only. Honey was right as rain the very next day, back to her normal eating pattern and no sickness. She is fully back to her old self no issues at all. Excellent vet always responsive despite being such a small practice. Also whilst she was there he pulled out some teeth with issues as later on would have been a £500.00 quid X-Ray - Thank you Charles and Team
