New Cross PDSA Pet Hospital

This branch has gone downhill over the years and it’s a shame; as it was local to me and the services were reasonably priced.

I’ve registered my cats at a private vet where I hope they’ll be cared for better than here.

It’s near impossible to talk to a vet or someone on the phone, it’s all automated messages and online systems.

Vets rarely get back to you, which is great when you’re anxious or worried about your pet!

Left me waiting all day for a call that didn’t arrive. Yes, they get busy but COMMUNICATE with clients.

I tool my 11 year old cat Bob there today after a bad experience at a private vet yesterday. I had an 11am appointment but Bob got out so I had to cancel. They were lovely and said get him here when you can so at 3.30pm Bob came in and I got him in his basket. Called this PDSA who said bring him along
We weren't waiting long there when we were called in...the vet was lovely, kind and.compassionate as was the lady with her. She was very good with Bob examining him and talking to him. She advised he have a scan which he did. Sadly the diagnosis wasn't good and.she suggested palliative care which I chose so he had an injection and is due back in a few weeks. The vet and the lady with her were kind, compassionate and obviously care deeply for animals. Bob was treated with kindness and respect. The reception staff were very welcoming and kind.

We are now home and Bob is with his brother Bill and gets to have what time he has left at home thanks to the PDSA. He is under their care now and I am thankful to them.

I cannot praise this Pet Hospital enough.

Every time we visit with our Pug they are so accommodating and understanding with her health conditions.

On our last visit unfortunately another mans dog had to be put to sleep and the vet Chris was so caring and compassionate and treated the dog with dignity until the very end. We stayed with the man to ensure he was OK and he could not speak highly enough of the practice.

The work load and pressure the practice experiences I honestly can say we have never felt rushed or half hearted service and thank the whole team at PDSA.

Went today for the first time with our lovely Twinkle. Who had to be put to sleep. The receptionist and vet were so lovely and caring. They cared not only about Twinkle but us as well. Easy to park and found it easily. Have found our new vet.

I have bought all 3 of my cats here and wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff are brilliant and answered in a way i could understand and didn't cut corners. Feel very at ease with whole practice. Highly recommended.

When I was a child my dog broke her leg on a twisted bin frame cemented into the ground of a field she was running in. They worked so hard for her and I haven't stepped foot in there for over 20 years so was very nervous about taking my current dog there because its an emotionalplace and memoryfor me. It was calmly paced, and I had a wonderful vet, very kind and gentle. Answered my questions and any concerns, even have the next appointment booked.

I have been taking my animals here for many many years. The care shown is excellent but just recently not so. Understand there is a lot going on outside but feel my dog hasn't been cared for effectively. Reason being she is old.

AMAZING AS ALWAYS. My poor fur baby got into a fight with a tom cat and didn't fair well. These guys were quick to give me an appointment. Saw him and treated us both with kindness. I just wish I had more money to give them
