The Parish Pump is at the heart of the village combining pub, post office and community centre in one building. Kept going by local volunteers. The hall is a standard village hall with a small stage area at the far end and kitchen facilities to the side. Host to table top sales, quizzes, annual bowling tournament and more.

Fantastic facilities at this village run hall. Includes a fantastic bar serving a good selection of beers, wines and spirits. Has its very own post office too open 6 days a week, very friendly place all around 😎 👌👌

A marvelous, volunteer run, asset to the community. Coffee mornings, bingo and other events for those that like to do organised stuff, a bowling green for the summer months and a skittle alley for the winter. A bar open several nights a week with pool and snooker tables and a dart board. Large free car park.

Nice clean environment with a warm & friendly atmosphere. There are lots of different activities, clubs & games here including the very well refurbished tennis courts. There's also plenty of parking. Don't expect it to be a very busy place but it's friendly locally run in a lovely quiet rural location just outside Ellesmere.

Very bad experience here..

We are not from the local area, but saw a charity event advertised that we liked the look of, so we decided to travel down and check it out.

We arrived, and the place looked lovely.. I didn't have my phone to take pictures, it was a real small community type of building.

Upon entering there was a lady who was extremely rude, and actually upset my son, after traveling we put it to one side and moved on, the whole time we were in the building we were being watched, there was tea and biscuit facilities but even as paying customers they refused us.

We decided to leave, I have later spoken to a manger of the community building about the service received and he did apologise but to little to late.

We won't be going back to any other events there again.

We are very sorry to hear about the poor experience Louise Matthews had at the Parish Hall. The Hall is hired out across the week to a variety of charities and clubs. If she could provide a little more information about the event she attended, i.e date, time of day etc. we would be glad of the opportunity to follow up accordingly.

I was here last night for a 40th wedding anniversary party. What a great parish Hall. Friendly bar staff, plenty of ales and good prices. The hall itself is a good size and well laid out, there was a good band in and the acoustics were great. Criftins is fortunate to have this place.
