Arrow Valley Visitor Centre

We fed the ducks, had a great walk around the lake, enjoyed the toddler playground and a hot chocolate at the visitor centre..added bonus is ample free parking. 4 star due to the toilet facilities, otherwise great!p

I always enjoy a trip to arrow valley lake, Redditch is very lucky to have such a big open space. You can always find yourself a quiet area to relax!

The play area is clean and tidy. We can walked the lakeside with well build pathways and cycle link. Free car park available here.

A delightful Lakeland Park. The map shows 3 way marked trails, graded as suitable (or not) for wheelchairs and pushchairs. I only took the wheelchair round the lake and the path was in great condition almost 2M wide tarmac most of the way. You do share this as a cycle path, so care might be needed at times.

Parking is free and a good size disabled parking area too with extra space to load and unload chairs or scooters. April 2022 beware roadworks at the entrance where a roundabout is being constructed will result in short queues and changing traffic flows.

Toilets in the Visitor Centre were very clean and easy to access. I didn’t use any other indoor facilities, but I did think coffee prices looked high if that was ‘instant in a paper cup’ but as I said - it was untried. We had flasks and there are many well positioned seats.
Great play area with safety surfaces and swings and an enormous slide, again untried by me! But very popular judging by the laughter and shouts from that area.

Arrow Valley visitor center are very attractive place in the heart of Country Park. Many benches, toilet, Cafe restaurant, picnic area, playground, making this location a local attraction and nice place for nice time on the fresh air.

The visitor centre is currently unable to open but the Lakeside cafe is open.

Autumnal illuminations where a bit disappointing, especially as they where to replace 25k of fireworks. The bar selling hot coffees and larges a win, but 3 food vans left a limited choice of food.
Not only the weather was great, but for us, the live singers were so good we stayed to the end.

Absolutely love it here! Early mornings are great for me as it is quiet. New Park looks fabulous and I'm sure the kids will love it.
