Was overall a great experience, would definitely recommend this place and glad I picked here over a more local dealership. Will definitely be back when it comes to an changing my car when the need arises
Windrush Volkswagen in Slough is just off the M4. The dealership is small in size but punches above its weight in terms of stock. Main entrance is kind of at the rear which is cool as that is where customer parking is and the reception desk is located right there. The showroom is your standard fair but very well done and there are comfort zones and a tea/coffee machine. The showroom staff are very friendly and approachable. This is a no pressure or stress environment. I’ve been to a couple other VW dealerships and the customer experience has not been that great. The buyers experience at one particular dealership was atrocious (I live in Reading figure the rest out your self). Not so at Windrush. I bought my last car from Windrush in Maidenhead and the experience was… elegant. This was my second car purchase from Windrush and the experience was very good. The customer manager who managed my sales experience was Nicky Conroy. What to say? Brilliant. Genuine. Knowledgeable. Personable. Flexible. Down to earth. Listened. Cared. Organised. Brilliant. Nicky wins this a 6 star review. My girlfriend has bought her cars here and speaks highly of other members of staff here. Only comes here. Massively recommended. Well played Windrush. Respect Nicky.
Love my new VW, my advice would be purchase elsewhere. VW Marshall Reading I can thoroughly recommend, great aftersales team who phone back update and generally seem to care about you as a customer.
Vw Windrush has zero customer after care and if you are hoping you will get looked after once you have spent a fortune on one of their cars, think again. From sales through to after sales an appalling experience for me. Sales lady was arrogant beyond belief and on complaining about how dirty my brand new car was and how poor the collection experience was, the approach was one of arrogance and ignorance, as if I’m the lucky one to have purchased one of their cars, they have been around 40 years don’t you know.
To this day I haven’t yet had one good experience with an individual that works there, as I try to get a very minor fault resolved on vehicle. I’ve given up.
I will add to this review, although my overall experience was and has been incredibly poor from a purchase and after sales perspective, I will pick out Mark Oldfield as on what I hope is the last visit to fix 6 months work of issues with my new car he was fantastic.
