DHL Lindt (Consumer Supply Chain)

Bearable warehouse, current night shift supervisors actually super nice and chill. As long as you work he is happy and don't grief or belittle you.
Seems decent for what it is so far.

The worst company and agency. I registered with the agency to start working as a bendi driver. I did the training and it turned out that there was a problem with my registration. The agency turned the error to my disadvantage and I was fired before I started working.

Rubbish place first day I arrived at the (Prolongis park) DHL I received absolutely no training at all, me and my brother were the only ones who was really working hard, half of them sit on their bottoms and did nothing and couldn't even speak english. A big company such as DHL I would of thought they would train you up and give you some knowledge on how the place operates, but no nothing at all especially in the morning when we're all use to line up for work, I would stand their waiting for work and they would look at us and then look away so half of the time whilst we we're there we did absolutely nothing which I thought was wrong as I like to work for my money.❗️🤦🏽‍♂️

Don’t go there for work. They work you to the bone . For drivers the hours are not good each day different start time. And in the where house. Hard work if they don’t have work for you send you home even in start of the shift. Make a lot of promises about Bonuses so you would work harder but at the end don’t give you any thing.

Friendly staff. Pretty quick to load when I went.

DHL here comprises of 3 sections. Life science (or something like that), co-pack and a warehouse.
One specific part of the warehouse role is rework. This specific role has been the reason people leave this job, it is that laborious . The long term effects of such work is really sad and many of the workers here won’t yet be aware of this. With a day pay of less than £10 an hour (for those who don’t drive fork lifts etc) , this is a terrible exploitation.
Next is co-pack. Here the leading cause of injury is repetitive movements. The assignments of roles will be done based on the favourites of mangers. Being flirtatious is a very effective way of earning promotions here. In all fairness, this only applies to some managers . The majority are ok .
Overall then, DHL has a lot to sort out regarding pay, equality and physical health of employees. Hopefully this can be addressed
Unfortunately, I have no idea what life science is like, so I am giving an extra star, and giving them the benefit of the doubt

Despatch staff smoking a lot. No body in office for hours. So German engineering became rusty smelly rover. Toilet terrible state someone definitely missing no Toilet paper but everywhere signs to be hygienic. Hypocrites!
