Primark Warehouse

The reviews I've read on working at Primark say more about the person writing them than actually working here!! If like me you just want a hassle free, straightforward job then working here is perfect....that being said they don't pay you for nothing!! Come and do your work with a smile on your face and meet your targets ( which are not unrealistic) and it's a great little job. People are not gotten rid of for one or two minor things...from what I've seen its a combination of things which the worker has the control over. If you constantly don't hit your targets then the managers will step in! They have targets to meet too! I love working here and have met some lovely friendly people of all nationalities who make the shifts fly by!

They don't allow you to be in the cab even when the trailer is disconnected.
Well... the food in the cafe is excellent and the price is reasonable.

Absolutely disgusting...training done by unprofessional people....and rude and unpolite....just the agency that introduce you to the company it is quite good...defnitely i don't suggest this job to anyone, indeed.?!

It’s lovely clean place and very nice people. Unfortunately i wasn’t fast enough where you have to pick boxes fast and wrap the pallet very fast so I didn’t get chance to work there.

Very neat environment and good place to work. Instead of paying for a gym, you are paid for gyming. Lolz

Being a nightshift worker the night is young so writing about this on a Saturday night might not be as sad as you might.., ok still sad. When I started I couldn't get above 40 picks an hour, that's like wow, bad, this job looks impossible and I thought perhaps the idea of me hitting targets was not going to happen but if you talk to the right people for advice, there is a way - if you have the will. The targets are bang on. Some jobs take time to physically adjust to, especially goods in but you can look at it like you might, going to the gym if that's the case (although the work out is less intense over time) and when you do get there (I lost weight, yeah baby) it's not bad at all. I worry about the people like me, who struggled at the start but gave up and didn't get to the Sunnier upsides. The pay is good compared to other warehouses, the canteens good, the gym, well looks like I won't need it but I think if they expand that it might be an element of more worker attraction.
