Absolutely lovely park away from the hustle and bustle that is Barking. We were here again on a Saturday morning for the 5km Park Run along the beautiful lake but we have been here several times when our kids were much younger. It is a lovely park ideal for a picnic or just to get away from it all. There is parking and if require toilets which are reasonably clean and there is also a lovely cafe right in front of the lake.

Yesterday, we visited this place first time. And we assumed that, water might be warm even in sunny weather but it was not. It was so cold water. Our kids just manage for 10 mins even slot was for one and half hour. Kids was not interested to went back.
Totally disappointed. I would not suggest this. Even price is too high with cold water... 😃

Even in photos you can see very less crowded.

For a peddle boat it’s a bit overpriced. Not a huge area but was good for the kids. Also loads of swans to look at. £6 for adults or they have a deal for family of 2 adults 2 kids which was worth it.

Celebrated our 7yr old's birthday at Barking Splash Park. It was a fantastic, stressfree experience. It was Covid safe, with all facilities clean and functional. All the children and parents had a great time dancing to the music and having fun in the water. The staff were exceptional, very friendly and accomodating. Thank you to the staff for making the birthday celebration a memorable one!

This place is lovely and clean. The children loved it and had a lot of fun. The staff were nice and easy to approach. Totally worth the money

My child really enjoyed the experience and it was a fun day out overall. The staff are very helpful, especially the manager. The place seems safe and secure (well staffed and gated area with restricted public access).

My child was shivering as the water is cold but survived 45 minutes and enjoyed it anyway. It was not particularly hot that day to be fair. Beware that there are optional additional charges once you get inside, but it can be hard to avoid this once the kids see the bouncy castle (£8 per child, and £10 for the supervising adult). Alltogether it was an expensive 90 minute session at £29 with just 1child and my role was just to supervise him! The logistical arrangements could be better explained on the website too.

We went to the splash park and unicorns boat ride and had a fantastic family weekend. Adrian was very welcoming to us, played football with the boys. Thank you for warm hospitality Adrian.

Replacement to Barking lido. Clean tidy. Great to see activities available for children. It is located in middle of park.
Staff helpful and its responsibility priced. The family enjoyed the afternoon in the heatwave. Well done Barking park. Giving people something to do. Open air so is weather dependent on if good or bad day
