De Gustibus Cakes

Lisa was amazing!! So friendly, kind, and accommodating. Honed in on exactly what I wanted very quickly, and gave us a delicious cake along with beautiful sugar paste flowers that we can cherish for the rest of our lives.

My son was extremely happy when his pokemon birthday cake was brought out on his birthday! The detail was incredible and accurate. All his friends were impressed and envious. Lisa provides a very efficient and timely service. She is very accommodating too. That was one of the most delicious cakes I have tasted and I thought it was worth a lot more than I paid. I would totally recommend Lisa!

Lisa has made multiple cakes for me and my family, including my wedding cake (which was more beautiful than I ever imagined when I originally had my design consultation with her) You can tell each creation is made with love and Lisa works very closely with your ideas to give you everything you want. We also recently had one of her afternoon tea boxes, which was delivered fresh and delicious. Scone heaven! Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing!! First time i ordered from De Gustibus Cakes was my daughters 2nd birthday cake which was fantastic, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it, absolutely delicious. The second time was for an Afternoon Tea Box, all freshly made, filling & just all round amazing food & sweet treats. Myself my partner & my daughter really loved it!! Delectable end of term delights from Degustbus Cakes

Thank you Lisa for making our end of term social distancing afternoon tea at Stowe. After not seeing the faculty for nearly a term, you made our reunion lunch extra special.

I love the idea of individual platters which made the event enjoyable and made it easy to keep 2m from each other. I especially like the Millionaire Shortbread and the Carrot and Walnut cake. The cake was sublime, moist and I thoroughly enjoyed the slight crunch to the walnut.

The staff in the Business department at Stowe have worked so hard this term with teaching, learning and assessments online. It was wonderful to end the Summer term, surrounded by the beauty of Stowe and with your delightful food to help us wind-down for the Summer break.

May all your customers enjoy your lockdown afternoon teas and cakes as much as we did.

I arranged the luxury afternoon tea for a locked down bithday surprise. No contact collection was fine, and the food was great. tasty selection of sandwiches and quiche etc, went down very well. Scones and cream great as well.

Lisa made a fabulous 2nd birthday cake my little girl. Lovely soft Victoria sponge and chocolate gnash covering. It was delicious and beautifully decorated that everybody throughly enjoy. Thank you so much.

Lisa was really fantastic with my last minute request for a fishing/police themed cake for my 86 year old father’s birthday party! Nothing is too much trouble for her. The cake not only tasted fantastic but it looked amazing too…definitely the talking point of the day!
