When we were looking for for someone to bake our wedding cake, we had no idea of the options available, nor what we wanted. From our first meeting, to delivering the cake on the day, Yvonne at Cherry Blossom cakes had unfailing professionalism. She designed a number of different options (through a detailed tasting and consultation session) to find a cake that was just right.

On the big day itself, our cake looked amazing - just as we'd discussed, but somehow better than either of us had imagined. It also tasted even better than at our tasting session (if that was possible!). It went down incredibly well with our guests who demolished it (whilst commenting on how delicious it was).

Cherry Blossom cakes was great value for money - especially considering how responsive Yvonne was in the weeks and months leading up to the wedding. Even in the middle of the busy wedding season, she helped ake choosing a wedding cake a stress-free experience.

Yvonne recently made our wedding cake, and was absolutely brilliant from the very start, going out of her way to be helpful and to plan the perfect cake for us. She listened to all our preferences and created a cake that was better than we could have imagined, with beautiful sugar flowers that perfectly matched the flowers in the bouquets. Everyone was so impressed and kept asking who had made the cake. It tasted absolutely delicious, with two tiers of sponge and two of fruit cake ... even my mum (who is difficult to please when it comes to baking!) said how wonderful it looked and tasted and how impressive it was. As well as being a very talented cake-maker, Yvonne is also one of the friendliest, bubbliest and most cheerful people I've ever met -- her enthusiasm for our wedding made her an absolute pleasure to work with. I'd recommend her to anyone -- everything was perfect!

Yvonne at Cherry Blossom Cakes was incredible. Although we weren't able to meet in person or taste the cake, when the day came the cake was more than we could've hoped for or expected. We got a Vanilla Sponge and it was absolutely incredible. The design was also gorgeous with fresh roses on the cake and rose petals around it. Everyone loved it! 12/10 would recommend Cherry Blossom Cakes if you're looking for a wedding cake during these crazy Covid times! Communication was easy, and the cake turned out fabulous!

Yvonne made our wedding cupcakes and we couldn't have been happier with them! From start to finish, Yvonne was amazing and listened to our ideas. We wanted 'Mr Whippy' style cupcakes but with different flavours of cake. The cupcakes looked amazing and tasted even better! All of our guests commented how good they looked and how yummy they were. The cupcakes were also still soft and tasty ten days on! I would highly recommend Yvonne to anyone looking for a wedding cake or cupcakes.

Our wedding cake was not only delicious but looked beautiful as well! Yvonne went above and beyond to bring our wedding cake vision to life. She even made everything vegan friendly and did not compromise on flavour or texture. Would highly recommend.

Yvonne was so friendly and helpful when working with her to create our wedding cake! She gave us an amazing box of tasters to sample the flavours she has to offer too which went down a treat. Nothing was too much trouble and she really brought our vision to life. We couldn't have been happier with the outcome, and even all of our guests complimented how good it was, most commented that it was the best wedding cake they had tasted!

We worked with Yvonne over email to get the perfect wedding cake. She was super quick to answer, friendly and professional. We knew what flavour (lemon) and style we wanted so we didn’t get any tasters and after we’ve had our cake I feel like we’ve missed out!! Best. Cake. Ever!!!
We got SO MANY comments from our guests through the evening that it was the best wedding cake they’d ever had. It was gorgeous and moist and delicious and looked beautiful. We wanted it decorated with fresh flowers so our florist just left Yvonne some blooms and she sorted it all out. Absolute beautiful and delicious, I would 100% recommend to everyone (especially the lemon cake!)!
