The Fitting Room (Bridal dress alterations)

What can I say..... they are miracle workers! When I first took my wedding dress to them, it didn't fit well anywhere! Megan was so reassuring and I knew I was in very capable hands. I had 4 dress fittings in the end and on the day it fitted perfectly! The dress was completely reworked including adding in a lace back to cover the low back which I decided I didn't like.

I cannot thank Sally enough for her amazing work on my wedding dress. I had a disaster after realising 6 months after purchase that my dress was the wrong size and 3 sizes too big! I had never taken it out of the box.
Anyway, Sally worked her magic and my dress fit like a glove on the day! She removed the lace up at the back and replaced with a zip. Then she pretty much took the whole dress apart to make it fit. Sally was a dream to work with and I would recommend to any bride needing alterations!

Sally and Megan did a fab job of altering my wedding dress and my bridesmaids dresses for the big day, and also steamed my dress ahead of the wedding day.

The Fitting Room worked magic on my wedding dress. I bought the sample wedding dress I tried on in the dress shop I used rather than getting measured and buying a size that fit. This meant the dress I bought was a good 2-3 dress sizes too big. However, The Fitting Room made it fit beautifully. They're so talented, they even added some extra lace from another part of the dress to the cleavage area as I needed that area covering up a bit, but you would not have noticed anything had been altered there, it was so expertly done! I had also used them a few years before for a bridesmaids dress which also fit amazingly. I would thoroughly recommend them. Thank you for all your work!

All of the staff at The Fitting Room were involved in the alterations for my wedding day - including bridesmaids dresses, bridal gown, grooms suit, even mother of the bride! The service is outstanding and Sally was incredibly accommodating, particularly when we had limited time to come for an appointment and many were booked at short notice. The quality of the alterations was incredible, everything fit like a glove!! I'm particularly grateful for all the effort Megan put in, having to unpick the entire lace hem of my wedding dress and restitch it to take it up a few inches. The amount of work done in such a short timescale is really impressive, and at a very reasonable price (in some cases, over £80 cheaper than quotes I received from other places). 10/10 would definitely recommend to others!
