We had our wedding at Alcott in May 2022. The location is beautiful but what made it for us was that Lucy, Chris and all the team were absolutely brilliant. They were cheerful, helpful, super organised and all round good eggs. I can't recommend them enough, if you're looking for an outdoor wedding this is the place! Lucy also has all the contacts/recommend suppliers you could ever need!

After 2 postponements we finally had our wedding at Alcott Weddings and Events venue at the end of June and we honestly couldn’t have picked a better venue! From the very beginning Lucy was so friendly, helpful and, armed with a huge list of suppliers, she made the daunting task of planning a wedding seem easy. We were originally due to get married in June 2020 but we unfortunately had to postpone due to covid, I honestly think we might have ended up cancelling if it wasn’t for Lucy. I know of people who had also hoped to get married that year who lost huge deposits and had a lot of stress but Lucy was on hand for support and to contact our supplies and get a new date agreed not only once but twice therefore taking most of the stress off us. When our day finally came around it went perfectly, special thank to you Chris who aside from setting up our beautiful lighting, sound system and generator, kept everything running on the day - we would have been lost without you! I cannot recommend Alcott, Lucy and Chris enough, it’s a beautiful venue and if you are looking for something a little different to host your big day it’s ideal.

Alcott Farm was a brilliant place to host our wedding reception. Tipi’s were brilliant set a great mood for the day. Lucy (manager) was accommodating throughout and pointed us in the direction of a number of companies to help make our day special at the farm. Each company had worked at the farm previously and knew how each of them worked which made the day work as a whole. Chris the events managers was really good leading up to big day and Nick helped out on the day with guiding catering and DJ and Games people when needed. Absolute star. Skyline catering were brilliant and delivered too notch food.

Me and Harley got married at Alcott wedding and events on the 15th July. From start to finish Lucy was amazing at organising things for us and offering advice where we needed it. The setting is beautiful and everyone commented on how amazing the tipi’s were. Our day was perfect from start to finish the food from skyline recommended by Lucy was fabulous especially the bbq and hog roast. The B&B was lovely and breakfast was great aswell as the dogs and horses! We would 100% recommend to anyone wanting an outdoor wedding in the beautiful countryside.

Summary: beautiful gorgeous country venue on a lake with options to have your desired structure. Lucy is absolutely delightful to organise with.
Lucy has been amazing throughout the whole pandemic. She was extremely understanding and allowed us to move our date not just once but also twice, without an extra price incurrence. She also helped liaise with her recommended suppliers to rearrange our date. She was there to offer advice and help me to make decisions and I have never met anyone who answers emails so quickly, which shows she is extremely reliable. 3 days before, I found out my bar hadn't applied for a license (to enable a cash bar for after our tab had ran out). I then found out that Lucy had already applied for a TENS license- she is super organised and knowledgeable about weddings. On the days leading up to the wedding, she popped in to check we were okay decorating the tipi and that we were happy with the layout etc. We had a whole smores stand which our events manager (who comes included with Lucy's venue) realised wasn't compatible with the indoor gas firepit, but he immediately called Lucy, who jumped to our rescue and very kindly lent her outdoor firepit so our guests could have smores! We were very touched by her generosity. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, overlooking the lake and the crop field- I cannot wait for our pictures to come back! We love the countryside and it was important that our wedding reflected this, along with it being easily accessible from the motorway. Even the drive up to it was gorgeous with lanes lined with cows parsley. Lastly, Lucy is extremely approachable and makes you feel very calm and at ease. Getting to know her (+ her dogs & Sophie!) the past 3 years has been lovely and I will really miss speaking with her and hopefully find another excuse to work with her again!

We photographed a wedding recently at Alcott Wedding & Events and it was such a lovely setting for the couple’s special day. It was a fun and relaxed atmosphere and the day ran perfectly. Would definitely recommend Alcott if you’re looking for a tipi wedding or event venue near Warwickshire or Worcestershire.

To sum up Alcott B&B would be quintessential English country charm inside the guesthouse. Great service from Berlinda and very a friendly host. The two beautiful white retrievers were the guardians and were very soppy 😀 I stayed for one night and made full use of the adjoing fishery which was very well kept and tidy. A great weekend Alcott Farm. If you like horses, you'll be in your element!
