An incredible venue in the most perfect setting! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & wedding at Tall Johns House. Everything was calm and relaxed yet no request was too much for their team to handle. It felt like a seamless day from start to finish. I would highly recommend getting married there or even a break away (we’re already planning our next stay). It was all we could have hoped for and more! Ken the chef cooks the most delicious of meals and breakfasts all locally sourced and you can tell, yummy! Archie & Sophie are the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them and their bar Doctors Orders has the most fantastic range of cocktails to quench your thirst on a hot day. A perfect family run business with Liza at the helm making sure all our queries were taken care of. Tall Johns House & Weddings will always be close to our hearts. Thank you soo very much!!

Wow Tall Johns was the venue of our dreams, from the day we went to view it we fell in love!! All the staff and team treat you so well and do everything they can to make your dreams come true, great food, great grounds and great fun, this venue go beyond any expectations. Give you complete control but are always there when needed, our wedding wouldn't have been half as perfect if we didnt get to celebrate here.

This wedding and event venue is a little off "the beaten track" up a single track lane in the beautiful countryside of the Brecon Beacons around 20 minutes drive from the historical town of Brecon itself.
There is pleasant accommodation in the main house and converted stables and outbuildings, but this is not a hotel in the usual description of hotels as there is little of the usual facilities one expects. There is free WiFi but none of our wedding party could get a mobile phone signal for the duration of our otherwise very pleasant two night stay. The management and staff are friendly and helpful and the bride and groom were very happy with their special day at Tall John's House.

What can you say about this old house,it's a fabulous place to stay if you like the quaint and quirky with added squeaky floorboards thrown in.
The staff, ken and Liz can't do enough for you, a nice little touch for us was as we had booked dinner on first night Ken thought the garden would be a lovely setting.(how right he was).
We only stayed 2 nights but it felt much longer,so a really big THANK YOU to you all for making us feel both really welcome and for a most relaxing couple of days we've had in a long while.

Beautiful historic house in the most wonderful countryside of the Brecon Beacons. Liz and Ken were wonderful, friendly and always smiling, and cook a cracking breakfast! The rooms were clean, full of character and so very comfortable. We stayed only a couple of nights and didn't want to leave.....so much to do in such a little time. Will definitely be visiting again.
