Perfect wedding venue. If you want the wow factor book this beautiful place. It’s a laid back vibe and the family cannot do enough for you . No need to worry about guests getting there and departing . They make it simple . My daughter and son in law had the best wedding imaginable. The accommodation was fabulous . Stunning scenery . Simply the most wonderful wedding venue. Big thank you to the family and Hopi !

I really don’t know where to start. My Son and Daughter-in-law got married this weekend and from the moment I walked into the barn on Thursday I have felt totally relaxed. We were made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble for Marcus, Will and the wonderful Hopy. The venue is amazing and the wedding will be remembered by everyone that attended forever.

My daughter held her wedding here last weekend and I would recommend this venue in a heartbeat. The scenery is breathtaking and provides a beautiful backdrop for an outdoor wedding . The barn is spacious but also has small more intimate seating for relaxing and chatting. The accomodation was excellent and helped us relax with friends and family before and after the wedding. The owners helped us make the wedding day my daughter had dreamt of and nothing was too much trouble for them. It was a perfect weekend. Thanks to all the staff involved.

This is a dream spot for a fairytale wedding! Most amazing venue with barn overlooking the beautiful Abergavenny valley. Beautiful barn with lots of space for food, dancing and just chilling out throughout the day. Family could not be more helpful and will always do their best to accommodate for the what the couple want for their wedding. My sister had the most magical wedding here, could not find a better place to get married!

I'd just like to add to my wife's review following my daughter's wedding. Everything about our stay was fantastic. The views are breathtaking and there's a great vibe particulary at sunrise and sunset. All the family and Hopey satisfied our every need. Shepherds huts were fab and you can take your pick depending if you want a beautiful view or seclusion. It was a great day overall with the Sugar Loaf barn playing an integral part.

Our wedding on 3/09/2022 was everything and more we could have ever planned or dreamed of. This is down to the stunning and impeccable staff at the Sugar Loaf Barn.
From start to finish (having booked the venue in 2019) Hersey, James, Marcus and Will were on hand to support and offer guidance whenever we needed it. They made the venue side of our wedding so easy and were up to do whatever we wanted!
The venue itself is out of this world - the views, the decor, the feel. If you’re looking for a venue for people to easily move around then this is for you.
Our family and friends loved being able to stay in the cottage, safari tents and shepherds huts. The views are out of this world! And to be able to have most of the accommodation from Thurs-Mon let’s you make a proper weekend of it.
We can’t thank the team enough (especially Marcus and Hopey aka Wedding Jesus) for making us feel so welcome. You truly felt like you were a part of the wedding party and that’s what we wanted.
On a practical level the barn has so much to offer - a great selection of drinks that are also really reasonable, not like your hotel weddings that charge £6 a pint! It already has so many props and lights that means you don’t have to spend an arm or a leg to decorate and it’s suits itself to non-fussy, relaxed weddings.
Our guests loved the trailer ride on the way up and haven’t stopped talking about the views.

My husband and I were lucky enough to be invited to a wedding at Sugar Loaf Barn. Wow, what an incredible place. The location is stunning with a backdrop to die for. The barn makes an incredible and versatile entertaining space. Highly recommended.

Beautiful wedding venue on a working farm. Staff were brilliant and there is absolutely nothing to complain about. Even overnighting in the tents was very comfy and not cold
