A very nice couple of hours with the kids. A cute cafe, kids playground, lots of rescued animals, a wild Muntjac and a crazy squirrel - what more could anyone ask for?

I absolutely love this establishment. Well worth a visit for big kids as well as little ones. When I visited (January 2020) they had muntjacs, owls, a doe, sheep, rabbits, foxes, a pig, ring neck parrots, and heaps more. They don't receive any government funding and rely solely on the public for donations to continue their work. Please go along and support!

It was lovely to see these animals being cared for. They have limited funds and the pens aren't state of the art, but the animals are safe and looked after. They rely solely on donations from visitors and its worth a visit to get close to some British wildlife that you might not have the chance to see normally. It's bigger than it looks from the outside and a nice way to spend an hour or so.

It is very small and doesn't take long to walk round but they do amazing work with helping sick and injured wildlife. There is also a children's play area and a gift shop which also sell coffees and snacks. If you want something more substantial there is a cafe about 10 minutes walk away. They rely on donations to keep going. A pleasant way to spend an afternoon.

Nice little animal park with a small play area. Decent prices. Parking in Trent Park with a 1/2 mile walk to farm.
The farm has a variety of wildlife from sheep to herons. After a walk through the woods, it's a nice little wildlife center to stop off at

Lovely walk through sanctuary for a nice afternoon to see some local animals, especially interesting for non-England natives to learn about the fauna of the area. A great community run operation that absolutely deserves and needs the support to continue this work for these wonderful animals. Please visit and get a coffee to support this mission
