Aadam Tints Nottingham

I honestly don’t know how there are so many positive reviews for this company. Perhaps because the owner is quite pushy for it. I was originally satisfied with his services, however my perspective changed after an independent review from another tint company following several return trips in July 2019 from Derby for remedial work, which included a crease in the corner of a tint, bubbles appearing at the top of the window, the tint not lining up with the edge of my windows and then one large bubble stuck in the middle of a window.

I have made over 80 miles of round trips from Derby to Nottingham only for him to refuse further remedial work. He said that it’s costing him £50.00 every time I come back for a replacement tint, despite a ‘lifetime warranty’. He then ignored my messages and refused to offer a partial refund. I have relocated from Derby to London which he was aware of, and since went back to my original tint place which was excellent; I used them for two previous vehicles with no issues. They reviewed Aadam’s work and replaced the tint with a better quality tint, confirming Aadam used a very low grade tint sheet that not even they offer. More importantly, they identified that Aadam had used the wrong file when trimming the top of a window tint which has chipped away the edge of my passenger window! This will gradually damage the rubber seal (I have frameless doors on a coupe) and will subsequently affect how waterproof my vehicle is, so I may have to get the window replaced.

I told my local tint company that original work was completed by Aadam. The owner said ‘that place in Nottingham?’ and proceeded to tell me that he is aware of Aadam’s poor workmanship, all the way down here in London! Aadam Tints is not a company that exists, nor does he state that he is a sole trader, which speaks volumes for the ‘lifetime warranty’.

I requested that Aadam pay me £80.00 to cover the remedial work completed by my local (receipt available), given his inability to sort it himself. He refused, I reduced my demand for £50.00 as a sign of good faith which he also refused so I said that I will leave an honest review based on my experience. He then threatened to track my IP address and that I should ‘be careful with what I write’. I saved his voice recording, reported his threat to Nottinghamshire Police and have obtained a crime reference number for his malicious threat.

I wish I never followed the positive reviews on here nor contacted him for tints. I strongly advise that any prospective customer avoid him at all costs. I also advise existing or previous customers should check that you are definitely happy with your tints and re-review if not, to prevent disappointment for further consumers.

Awful job.
Tinted 8 windows for me and 6 of them had bubbles and creases in them.
Took it back and he tried to sort it out but couldn’t sort them as he did not prep the windows properly and tinted over dirt.
His work is awful all his cuts are wonky and i had to take my car elsewhere to get re tinted at my own cost.
I wouldn’t return even if he was free.

Good pricing but when I have used his services it hasn't been more than an 3* as it has left me 2 pieces of hair under the film,I do not have the car anymore as I have sold it 2 months ago (Audi A6 61 plate) but I wouldn't use the services again only for that reason. Otherwise nice lad to talk to,and decent pricing

Not had a reply rto messages or phone calls, went to site and all locked up no premises name on building anymore. Think it's shut down

Did a pretty good job for a decent price, although he left some off cuts in the back of my car.
