The Wine Cellar Bar & Bistro

We love coming here. The food is fantastic. Never had a bad meal here. My partner loves the rib-eye steak which always perfectly cooked and I loved the prawn starter and asparagus. The wine is always excellent especially the wines by the glass.

My friends and I went for dinner last night and the food was sensational. I had the cod with summer vegetables - it was one of the best meals I've ever had! The wine and espresso martinis were fantastic. Such brilliant staff and service. I can't wait to come again. I can't recommend this restaurant enough! Thanks so much for looking after us x

The wonderful team at the wine cellar accommodated a late request for us to hold our wedding reception at their venue. they did it all with the most perfect professional attitude. the drinks, service and hospitality were amazing. thank you so much for making our special day go perfect !! What a cosy lovely, friendly and inviting restaurant! Why have I never been here for dinner and drinks before? We had a delicious dinner with great service and would highly recommend the vegetarian curry! Thanks for a lovely night and look forward to returning.

Wow, been in here so many times over the years and loved it, good quality food and good selection of drinks. Then 1 member of bar staff spoils it for you, such attitude, what a shame

Amazing little place hidden away in Chelmsford. Went for drinks to celebrate my partners birthday. Wine and gin menu was very extensive. Each gin had a thorough description. It was great to try some new gins. Staff were incredibly helpful and very friendly. Decorated bottle was a lovely touch and a great keep sake. Thank you.
