Place is full of old men !! It’s like living in the 50’s style .
Girls be aware men are too hungry and touchy and they don't take a NO for an answer . They will still chase you touch your body from behind by force . Music was awful . They don't have cloak room and you need to keep an eye on ur things which is annoying . Place is too small . I had a guy whom wouldn't take a no for answer chasing me then I told him off and he was about to hit me chasing me around , he was aggressive Security came& instead of kicking him out , he got away with it as he is regular there from what I was told !!
I left unhappy with their service ! Very disappointed first & last time !! This is a place to AVOID. I didn't pay attention to the bad reviews and I went with the good ones . Big mistake !! Ladies be careful , don’t go there !!
Great atmosphere and staff.
The spoiler is.. The music is predictable no matter what time of year you go. There is more to offer where commercial music is concerned. Repetitive as said by others. Switch it up..
Get rid of the VIP area for people to sit. It is not the size for VIP. 🙈🙈🙈
Take note.. The crowd is diminishing.
Its a shame. The bar has so much potential..
I have attended this club several times in the last two years and my experiences have, like the reviews, been mixed. On a good night it can be great with great music and fantastic atmosphere. However, on a bad night it can be like dancing in your living room with the lights down and a couple of odd house guests.
Last night was meant to be the celebration of jamaica's independence with DJ Calvin Francis. Note to manager: a few badly hung jamaican flags does not make an independence party. The dj (who by the way wasn't Calvin Francis) played a large amount of (non-jamaican) soul which seemed to enertain a large Luther vandross look-alike but my foot shuffling wore a bit thin after about the 20th track.
I don't think this club knows quite what it wants to be or who its aiming itself at. It has an odd bod crowd; a mixed bag from the sublime to the ridiculous including those who seem to be unaware of where they are or why they are there!
There are plus points: it's small and cosy ; older crowd; sometimes good music; bar lady greets us well and remembers our usual.
The negative points: too many odd characters; outdated; unnecessary teeny tiny VIP section; overpriced drinks; music can sometimes be bog-standard and boring.
I want to support this club but it's to hard when its so hit and miss.
Come on Mr Manager surely its time for a shake up!
