A great local place to try new wines with some nibbles. Great atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Get a 'flight' of wines (any three in 50ml measures). If you're not sure what you like just ask staff to get you their favourites.

They also do events to do with wine tasting and learning which sound interesting

They made me a loyal customer during my first visit. Their passion and knowledge of wine is contagious. Time stops in this cosy wine bar due to its atmosphere and decor and you end up drinking delicious wine for hours, chatting away about wine and life. In Streatham! It's such a nice place to chill out. Share with them what your tastes are and they will guide you through their list whether you want to try a small glass - you have this option too - or the normal-size ones. They have food too which I haven't tried yet. The Clos de Roque and the Argentinian Malbec are superb if you are into full-bodies with spicy hints wines.

Great that Streatham Wine House is local for us. Expanding our wine knowledge and palate and so many things now being organised to keep us coming back. Good atmosphere, tad busy some evenings so a bit pot luck on getting a table but they always tray and accommodate.

Popped in with friends on a whim and despite being understaffed they were lovely enough to clean up a table and a accommodate us.

However, I was reminded why, despite being a wine lover and local, I almost never go to the wine house. I had a white wine tasting tasting flight and while two were pleasant, the third was possibly the worst white wine I've ever tasted. To quote my friend, "Jesus, please turn this wine back into water." And they charge the price of a reasonable bottle of wine from the store for the displeasure of sampling two fair and one horrific wine.

Next time, I'm just going to see what Sainsburys has in the fridge, thanks.

Had our first experience of this place the other week.

Nice to find something local and lovely

The staff are warm, welcoming and knowledgable with out making you feel dumb.

The food was tasty, but was a little bit disappointed that the wine and cheese pairing I had heard about didn't seem to be on the menu that night.

All in all good vibes, lovely people I hope I get to come back soon

Welcoming staff with willingness to assist in choosing a delicious glass of something different from the Overwhelming choice. Definitely a nice spot for a catch up over a glass or two .

Great wine bar, with excellent wines. We reserved the downstairs den to play board games on a lazy Sunday. We had a great experience, being able to play our own music in a private area with the team supplying a steady supply of nibbles and drinks. In the evening we ordered the pizzas and they hit the spot. Our visit coincided with the tail of their new Beaujolais season, which meant some lovely wines were had for a reasonable price. All in all a really positive experience - looking forward to visiting them again at some point.
