Had two large glasses of Rioja. Like it so much I bought a bottle to take home. Lovely little bar. I'll eat here next time.

I had a nice beer here. Until I went to the toilet that is. I was looking for them, (incidentally they are upstairs) a few steps up those very stairs I was stopped with 'can I help you' I replied with 'yeah I'm just looking for the toilet'; the response I got was nothing short of rude; 'you are not one of our customers though are you'. I just don't know on what planet that level of rude is ok. I politely explained that I was, and felt the need to point to where I, and my colleagues were sat. The response was 'oh cos we get the people from next door coming in'....(not sorry) May I suggest less of an accusatory tone?

I was going to have another but I'll take my business elsewhere.
2 stars for leaving us in peace for an hour to enjoy our drinks.

Nice wines but very cheeky - I waited outside for service for about 10 mins before going inside to order from the bar, where I waited another 10 minutes being completely ignored even though they weren’t busy. We kept having to go inside to order and then in the end they put full service charge on the check 🥴. cheeeky.

The check was also over £40 for three small bottles of beer (not even half pints), a small glass of their cheapest white wine and a side of hummus… I realize it’s in city but veeery expensive regardless 💸

Not the most professional place as staff member in hot pants was climbing all over i can only assume was her partner. The owner was lovely tho but yea... first time ive seen that.

Very good wine selection, accompanied by a pretty good food selection.

What a great little place for after work drinks, right outside Moorgate tube station. Easy to miss, as it blends into the pub next door. Good selection of wine. Decent chacuterie board. Did not try the food, but I am sure it is great. Quick and friendly service.

Great wine list we can pick up from cellar at the ground floor.
Every British dishes perfectly match with drinks.
Not so cheap, but satisfied for a special but casual occasion.
