First time eating and drinking at The Wine Room Mapperley. A catch up with friends. Nice atmosphere. We had a selection of lite bites including pork belly bites, pakoras and chinese dumplings. We had desserts and wine. We paid more here than other venues we have been to, but you can save money by eating before 6pm when you can get 2 4 1 on the lite bites. Cocktails are 2 for £11 most days. 🍹

Disgraceful, we booked for 10 people and they lost our booking dispite us showing the phone proof from calling them. They couldn't give us Sunday lunch that we ordered. The manager was more interested in interrigating us about who took our order. Service was appalling. Our meal served 30 mins after the first one

The Wine Room hosted the surprise proposal I planned for my partner. I rented the upper floor and it already had a romantic feel to it even before it was designed. Nadia, was also very accommodating to my requests and even had an acting part that really made the surprise real too. The food is amazing! REAAALLY AMAZING! We couldn't even drink anymore cause the food really satisfied us. Everyone is very lovely and took care of us all the time. I have told my friends about this place and we are excited to have a drink here!

Such a welcoming venue, staff attentive but never pushy. It has become our favourite Friday afternoon work pitstop.

My first visit to the Wine room Mapperley.
Really nice food and very friendly staff. 50% off in January 2023 which was a bonus.
I would recommend the food here. Easy parking too.

Went for the 1st time in December. Loved it. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. The staff was equally so, especially as I wasn't sure that I was in the right place meeting a friend! Didn't try the food this time, but it looked inviting, so I'll be back to try!! Thank you for being helpful and kind.

Shambles of a gaff. Booked for a meal for 2 for New Year’s Eve. In fairness when we got there we were greeted by a really nice fella. We were a bit early so had a drink at the bar.

Then we were told our “table” was ready upstairs. Now as we had been called the day before to confirm it was drinks and dining. Imagine our surprise to be seated at a tiny circular bar table right at the front of the bar as if we were the entertainment.

The two staff upstairs clearly knew there was a balls up as they both avoided eye contact with us for 15 minutes before I asked if our dining table was ready.

The receding guy I spoke to after explaining the issue just said “oh sorry someone should have called to confirm you were eating”

When I said they had he just shrugged his shoulders.

Primark level customer service, thanks for ruining our plans….

Our new favourite place for food and drinks , have visited several times in the last few months and love the food, especially the homemade pakoras.
My only regret is I never visited sooner as I took the name literally and don’t drink wine lol .
