Recommend even if not for wine. 🍷
Ordered 30 bottles of wine on line, normally comes from the Warehouse with no issues, or I collect from Cheltenham who are great,
but this time it appears that the order was passed to the Worcester shop which is where it all goes wrong!!!
A few days later 24 bottles appear on the door step, I was in all day but they never knocked or rang the bell, no delivery note nothing at all.
Next day 2 bottles appear same routine no paperwork.
I went online to customer services and to find out what was going on, 3 days later I get a standard email back saying "short of staff" "In high demand" and that my order was passed to the Worcester shop and I had to ring the shop, not great for a company of this size!
Anyway I ring the shop no answer, so I try several times but always the same no answer but leave a message "we will get back to you in 24hrs", so I leave a message saying I'm not happy, 4 bottles of wine missing, no delivery note and checking my payment no credit for the missing bottles.
Then I get a series of emails from marketing at head office saying "you now have your wine sit back and enjoy", so I answer no don't !
I get a reply next day saying we will look into it when the shop updates them, well 2 days go by and guess what, still no call from the shop and not update from customer service.
Its been over a week now and I'm still missing 4 bottles and insult to injury although I ordered 6 different Viogniers instead of doubling up on one they substituted one with a Riesling, nothing like!!!
Most unhappy, next orders will be going to Laithwates or Virgin !
