Majestic Wine

I went to Majestics for the first time and had no idea what I was looking for. I had been advised to try Guv'nor by a friend and spoke to the lady there. She told me that it was the most popular wine currently. She was very helpful and full of advice. I bought a crate and it was carried to my car for me.

Always a pleasure to visit this place. The range of wine is extensive and the prices are low. On top of that, the staff are extremely knowledgable and helpful, always offerring to carry your purchases out to your car. If you're new to Majestic do try a bottle of 'Porta 6', a very reasonably priced, excellent Portugese red.

Majestic has improved no end and has recovered from the doldrums it was in a while back. The staff in Winchester are very helpful and know their stuff.

Very good wine chain. Excellent advice and free tasting. Carefully curated selection. There are wines that I don't like here, but there are no duff wines. 100 times as good as a supermarket. Note: you have to buy 6 bottles to get deals, but you can mix any 6.

Popped into Winchester branch today to grab some more of our favourite, Bread and Butter Chardonnay....but also needed some advice on further wines....a very helpful assistant explained he would ask his manager for the best wine to recommend as he had only just started and was learning. No problem with that at all, but when the manager is standing a few feet away from us and just rattled off a whole load of wines which he thought would work, didn't even acknowledge us.....we felt like our custom was really valued!!.....Not!!
Shame - we left with just the 12 bottles of bread and butter and will be going to a different branch next time!!

Friendly and helpful staff. You are left to choose, no hard sell. The range is excellent, now even better since the shop has expanded, and includes a new tasting area.

I was never into wine until i stepped into this store well.... My wife has left me and has taken the kids, i haven't payed my mortgage in three months, I've just had my tv and sofa repossessed and i have liver failure. 10/10 would recommend

Friendly helpful staff were amazingly knowledgeable! Found exactly what I was looking for, and it was reasonably priced too. I'm sure I'll be back....
