Lea & Sandeman Wine Merchants

I have come here for years. The last 3 times i went in and asked for a recommendation they have been overpriced and I almost un able to drink. Some staff are great but some are obnoxious and rude and maybe forget we are the customers as much as they may no about wine. I will now be taking my business 4 shops down to a great new wine shop.

Whether it's a special gift or an affordable bottle for dinner, would highly recommend this store for it's selection and customer service!

Exemplary service. There was a problem, of my own making, with my first order. I contacted the merchant and their courtesy and swift action to expedite the delivery was second to none. It's a real pleasure to deal with people who are professional, courteous and effective. I have no hesitation in recommending them and of course will buy from them again.

We made an order for an event at the Chelsea Physic Garden in June. We wish to say that the Chelsea branch staff were extremely helpful every step of the way – with a particular shout-out to Gianluca!

Popped in on Saturday to buy some wine and how delighted we were to encounter the charming John Luca. We shared with him what we were cooking for our anniversary dinner that evening and he helped us choose complimentary wines. A shopping experience how it should be.

first time I had been in the store and was accused of shoplifting not a good initial experience.

Mix up with numbers of bottles charged/not charged. Back to the shop again - o no we didn’t actually charge you so back home again. We all miscount but an apology is always nice

I've been to the Chelsea branch and bought 4 bottles, at an average price of £20 per bottle.
I tried two and both of the were mildly corked - meaning that their storage of the wine have been very poor.
In addition, one of the wine was really of poor quality.
The only reason for two stars instead of one is that the shop assistant was very pleasant and helpful.
