Disgusting. We bought a bottle of wine there for £15. The bag that they gave us broke on the way home, thus breaking the bottle, and the shop owner refused to take responsibility saying it wasn't his bag. He knew exactly what had happened but basically didn't want to replace the bottle. Will never set foot in this shop again.

From Kernel to Camden breweries, this little shop is jam packed with lots of fantastic choices (beer, wine and liquor). I needed vegan beers for a friend visiting and the shopkeeper — part of the family that has owned this place for more than 30 years — was incredibly kind and helpful. I just moved to this area of Highbury and I know I'll be frequenting this place. Prices are very fair and the selection is unbelievable for the size of the shop.

From the outside this looks like one of the many run of the mill convenience stores on Blackstock Road but inside it is an Aladdin's cave of choice with a fine selection of beers, wines and spirits all at a reasonable price for a convient local shop. Truly a hidden gem.

I've been shopping at Arsenal wine for many years - GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. The staff are very friendly and will take the time to assist you as well as ensuring that value for money is offered to both old and new customers. Not sure about your experience 'Jason', the shop prices are very competitive with main supermarkets. I would not call this local shop a rip off at all.

The guys in here are possibly the friendliest shopkeepers ever. And they've a fairly decent selection of craft stuff now, too. Good for all booze needs.

They say support your local shop. If the price is almost double of what you can get from local supermarket then it's impossible. Bought 4 cans of Camden hells, 4 cans of brew dog and 2 delirium tremens Belgian beer (£3.75 each) comes in total of 24 quid. Total Ripped off.
