Franklin’s Wine

Lovely new place opened only a few days. Really nice selection of well priced wines. Still stocking up, but worth a visit. From English to classic French!

We had a virtual wine tasting event for a corporate Christmas party with Antonio @Franklin’s wine. It was an amazing evening, lots of interactions with Antonio and with each other. The wine selection was exceptional and the Christmas hamper was beautiful and very well received! Antonio is very knowledgeable, professional and fun, making sure everyone felt inclusive! He was able to give advices and answered all of our queries. My team was very merry and tipsy by the end of our virtual party as we stayed on zoom for a further after party provided by Franklin’s. We were lucky to have found Franklin’s wine for this Christmas event :) Thank you and highly recommended for wine shopping and events!

I've been there different times and never regretted it. The manager, and experienced sommelier, is capable to suggest the perfect wine for every taste and occasion, letting alone it is equipped the varieties of wine from all over the world (and you can find some of the best ones in the world) at a very modest price. The wine tasting organised last week was lead from a french wine make maker, very illuminating. This became my favourite place to go when I qish a good glass of wine and a homey wine bar! Suggested!

Lovely little wine shop with the most friendly and professional staff! I've been visiting regularly since I discovered them, and have never been disappointed by their recommendations. Strongly recommend!

Lovely small wine shop and bar with an exceptional selection, from around the world but especially France, Italy and Spain. There is limited space im the shop but it also also has a covered outside area, which makes it a good place to visit in winter or the rain.

Honestly the place is nice, the guy in the store is nice, cute little terrace or nice family table inside. but it's overpriced for one glass of wine. And an automatic tip of 2,40 for serving 2 glasses of wine.. much better places all around that place. If you don't feel like looking for a nice place where it's worth it and you fall on this, its fine.. that's what happened for my situation, but 2 glasses of wine for 24 pounds a bit of a joke, you can get 2 bottles of wine for that price and the wine is top quality at marks or sainsbury.

I had previously really enjoyed this establishment. Since the new management, this place has gotten pretty bad. My wine club order was completely messed up, without any helpful solutions, making me never wanting to go back. Too bad, because I LOVE their house made negronis.

Franklin's wine at Thackeray Street is a fantastic addition in heart of Kensington. I have been its customer since the launch. Quality wines and other beverages served by excellent staff members such as Lucia . I am always happy to stop by and relax with mates. Totally recommend for those who explore local community and its businesses.
