Not quite as large a selection as you might want, with most wines on the more expensive end of the spectrum and definite 'old world' feel. Excellent for a special bottle of fine wine or building a serious cellar, but perhaps not the best for the odd weeknight tipple. Helpful and knowledgeable staff, as you'd expect.

In-store experience is extremely helpful and some very nice wines. However the three stars is balance this with the the terrible experience of ordering from one of their mail shots. After 5 months I have still not received the order. I understand delays, however I have not had a single update without having to first chase every month. Now pending a response to a request for refund - 3 days and counting

Small, albeit well stocked liquor store containing some great selections of wine. Depending on the staff member who serves you, you may get the best service and knowledgeable professional, or the complete opposite. Unfortunately, I have experienced the latter more often.

Staffed by good eggs all and not a rotten one among 'em.
Pricing is occasionally eccentric but it can work both ways and is generally in line with the area.

Note to other punters: you *really* don't need to ask the staff for advice on a £10 wine. It's a £10 bottle of juice; it's not like you're buying a vintage motor for chrissakes.

Note to Jeroboams Head Office: your interior designer is a nutter suffering from diminished eyesight. The walls are so bright I gotta wear shades.

For all the supposed affluence of North London, the offering in many of its wine shops can be disappointingly down-market. So I was pleased to discover a Jeroboams in Hampstead. Decent selection of Burgundy here considering it's a relatively small shop. Found some Vosne Romanée which is something of a rarity in a regular wine shop (I usually have to go to specialist Burgundy merchants online), plus there's a few Burgundy Grand Crus on offer, as well as a bunch of other village level offerings (Gevrey Chambertin and chums) which looked ok. Interestingly not much in the middle there (1er crus), but that might have just reflected the stock on one particular day.

Treated with such disregard, suspicion, disrespect and genuinely unpleasant and unhelpful. One of the other member of staff did apologise but the manager of the shop was so rude apparently as I am not on the system and not 'known' to them I am not an important enough customer to be treated with respect. Although I work and live locally popping into the shop to buy wines as well as ordering through deliveroo all the time from them. Overall very square, unhelpful and unpleasant to deal with, I left the shop promptly almost in tears. I will be looking elsewhere from now on!

The staff are very patient and spend a good amount of time trying to help you find something. They have a great selection of wine too which are fairly priced.

I ordered a delivery of champagne for a friend's birthday and paid extra GBP 10 to ensure delivery on the correct day. Delivery was made 3 days late and when I enquired why this happened and asked for a refund of the express delivery charge, I received no response. I have since chased but still have no response or refund. Mistakes happen, but I would expect such a company to apologise and refund the delivery charge. Disappointing.
