A corking (sorry!) independent wine shop with an excellent and often unique range catering to all tastes and budgets. Lots of the wines are from small prodcuers you won't easily find elsewhere. They also have a good selection of local craft beers.

The owner is friendly, knowledgeable, passionate, unfailingly helpful and, perhaps most importantly, entirely unpretentious.

This is just what Whetsone needs and my new go to for wine - each and every recommendation has hit the spot.

This place is fantastic. 400+ carefully curated wines, plus a good selection of craft beers.

The proprietor is friendly, knowledgeable and clearly incredibly passionate about the quality of everything in his shop.

To top it all off the coffee is the best in Whetstone... in fact the decaf might have been the best I've ever had! You can buy to take-away or buy bags to make at home.

Brilliant range of wines, and all very neatly displayed. Easy to navigate the shop and knowledgeable friendly help on hand from the owner, should you need it. Just what the neighbourhood needs!

Great selection of wines and beers too, friendly and knowledgeable owner and nice to sit in for a drink! They do a tapas night too for groups, which I'll be trying out in the near future.
