This is a good wine shop with an interesting range of wines in a good spot (although access is now a little trying with the road closure outside). We spend quite a lot of money here over the years and keep coming back in the main due to the lack of competition unless you hike over to Corks in Cotham. However, I do agree with other reviews. The quality of service and welcome at DBM does very much depend on who is behind the till. If you get the wrong ones on your first visit, you might never return !!

Lovely looking shop with a huge variety of wines - let down only by its service. Asked after a certain type of wine for a Christmas present only to be told brusquely "No. You can get it in a supermarket maybe." before the gentleman turned to a different customer.

Really disappointing given the positive reviews posted here. I felt very embarrassed and dismissed. Was looking forwards to establishing this as my new wine shop of choice, but I've since had a warmer reception at Waitrose.

First time I ordered from DBM. I was promised a delivery date but it never arrived. A really disappointing introduction to the service. £200+ order could have been nice but cancelled due to lack of organisation. In business never promise what you can’t deliver.

I ordered my wine online, although their was a breakage in transit, i contacted the shop where the lady took the time to contact the courier then contacted me straight back to say my order was re dispatched and arrived the next day, 5 stars for efficiency and a pleasure to deal with, many thanks.
