The Guildford Wine Company

This is a truly independent wine shop, with a huge range of wines, whiskies, gins and beyond. They are very experienced so I have never had a problem with their recommendations. They also take time to know their customers and meet their needs. They also have gift wrapping for any special occasion.

We love this little shop! Ben and Will are so friendly and helpful, and it's so much better to have recommendations from guys who know their stuff than going to a supermarket for wine. We highly recommend this store!

Ben has built a great wine shop combined with excellent service. He recently helped me put together a Christmas drinks package which he then sent to all members of my team around the country so we could enjoy a Covid-friendly virtual Christmas party.

I have called just before closing on Good Friday from Canada to ask if there was a chance a bottle of champagne could be delivered to a localy as a surprise for birthday celebration. Will not only helped me select the bottle, he arranged to have it delivered the following day in the afternoon. I called again on Saturday in a bit of a panic as I learned that the party was the previous day. Will was again incredibly helpful and suggested that I email him the address of the celebrants, and he would arrange to have it couriered to their home. Superb, fantastic customer service. Beyond grateful for Will's help. And the bottle of champagne actually arrived on the actual birthday day of one of them!!! Ben, you have incredible staff and Will is absolutely fabulous! Thank you 😊

Very lovely shop with great customer service. A huge collection of wines as well as spirits. Able to help source things they don't have and provides local free delivery. Even helped take everything to my car. Definitely will become a repeat customer.

The Guildford Wine Company provided all the wine and bubbly for our wedding in July. They were fantastic to deal with and have such a great selection of wines. Highly recommend using them, whether it is for a nice bottle on a Saturday night or for a big event!
