Excellent service, all the staff were very helpful, especially towards a weary traveller. The bottle shop provided an excellent introduction to Penarth. A wide range of craft beer and ale on offer and a huge range of wines. Champagne on offer was limited, but we'll within the price range of the rest of their stock.

Fantastic place for a drink while browsing the wide selection of drinks, we invariably end up leaving with at least one bottle of wine! We regularly call in for a drink or two in an afternoon, dogs and children are welcome and the beer selection is excellent.

Great selection of quality wine, a welcome alternative to the mass produced stuff in the supermarkets. Massive selection of craft beers, local and from around the world. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. The best thing is you can enjoy the wine and beer on premises and it's a wonderful atmosphere.

Great place to get some whiskies which are not mainstream. The lady behind the counter was very knowledgeable and was able to recommend a great whisky which I have not tried yet (which is harder than I thought) based on what I liked previously👍💪 They also have a great selection of wine if you are that way inclined…😜

TL;DR: Amazing staff, great advice, fantastic products. Will be going again.

I had a truly wonderful experience buying from here. I am an indecisive customer when it comes to drinks, but the gentleman in the shop was never impatient. On the contrary he offered some amazing and impartial advice, had a genuine friendly conversation and was incredibly knowledgeable about his products.

More importantly though he was completely transparent about their process of choosing what to stock and about what was popular or less popular.

I have had three beers that I don't think I would have had the pleasure of finding anywhere else from here. All were delicious.

If I'm near to this shop again which I very much hope I will be I'll be sure to pop in. I highly recommend.

Nice boutique wine shop, with a small selection of craft beers. This place has a wide selection/verity of wines, a little bit pricey as you'd expect for a specialist wine shop; it also has a small selection of craft beers but the person I spoke to had a limited knowledge of those; when asked, she showed me the local ales but I asked for some Amber ale & got shown a bottle of dark ale...but not an issue, I don't expect them to know all about beer in a wine shop. Their knowledge of wine seems very good though & staff are very friendly, helpful & give you the feeling of wanting to do all they can to help out.
All in all, this is a great place to get some wine & know it'll more than likely be what you want & go with the food/occasion your purchasing it for & you'll have a pleasant time buying it...if you want cheap plonk with no help, go to a supermarket & take a guess at what you'll get.
