This company is not interested in you once you have given them your money.

It was not a problem for me a few months ago when i ordered some internal French doors, I had a phone call from Ron Currie saying the doors had been damaged on the edge, I said it's not a problem dont worry about sending them back as i can fill the door before i paint it, for me it's about working together the seller and the customer.

Today i went to return a wood panel, for credit against additional items I needed to purchase, as i did not have the original receipt but a copy of my business bank statement. They rudely said no to returning the panel. Also another member of staff thought it was funny to say to a customer save your receipt incase you want to return it and started laughing.

Arrogant is an understatement. I've been going there for years. Not now.

It also wasn't a problem when the trim they sold me was splintered and chamfered out of shape. Again I just didn't make a fuss.

I'd never recommend this company anymore.

This a great local timber merchants. Very good prices, and good customer service. Loads of stock and hardware too.

Been using Ron Curries for year's ,and built-up a friendly relationship with the staff, they are very helpful and polite. Always have a good stock of timber and materials.

Friendly, had everything we needed & alot cheaper than other leading stores.

Always use this place for my DIY projects, great choice of wood for all needs. The pay online and collect in car park system is great in my eyes so you can order online instead of having to look in store, not that it's hard to find in store, but its great to be able to have that option. They even offer delivery if you need it, great place used it loads will definitely use again.

We ordered some 4.8m rebated dado rails from them and the whole process from ordering to delivery has been excellent.
Arrived on time and well packaged.
The website is great too.

Ordered some treated CLS 38x63 which has hard to find elsewhere locally that would deliver to me (most places only sell untreated). I initially imagined they wouldn’t deliver to me as I’m not local to them, but they deliver nationwide. All wood supplied was perfectly straight and was delivered within the time frame they promised, and even though they warned it might take a few days longer due to pandemic/lorry driver shortage, it wasn’t delayed at all. Thanks! :-)
