Amy's method of teaching yoga suits me perfectly; she is kind and patient, strong and articulate and always has a smile and encouraging words for everyone who comes to her classes, whether they are starting out or more experienced.

The class is a great combination of classic yoga and a 15 minute mindfulness meditation to round the evening off. You can guarantee that you will leave Amy's class feeling physically stretched and emotionally balanced.

I have been a student of Amy’s for over a year now, and I could not imagine my Wednesday nights without her yoga class.

Classes tend to be small, so the experience feels more personal, and the school hall setting is far more peaceful and relaxing than you might think. The class is a mixture of revisiting ‘old favourite’ poses week on week, and testing out new, slightly more advanced movements.

However, you do not have to be extraordinarily flexible or athletic to take part in Amy’s classes. You will not be left behind or made to feel unfit: the atmosphere is encouraging, and the emphasis is not on achieving the perfect yoga pose, but on listening to your body and treating it with kindness.

I particularly enjoy the focus on mindfulness that Any brings to her teaching. It’s an extra dimension that takes this far beyond an exercise class: it’s a welcome reminder to breathe! I always look forward to taking 75 mins out of a stressful and busy week to relax and reconnect with my body and mind.

Amy is an incredible teacher. I am in awe of her knowledge, her calm, positive manner...and, of course, her flexibility! I cannot recommend her, and her yoga and mindfulness classes, highly enough.

I have been coming to Amy's yoga class for about 8 years and have been enjoying it very much. Amy is an experience teacher and I like the way she explains and demonstrates all the position we do, always giving alternative options depending on people's abilities, which obviously differ from person to person as the class is attended by people of different ages. If you like to be fit and flexible, come and join us.

I have been attending Amy’s yoga classes for many years and I can thoroughly recommend them . She gives clear instructions , giving several levels of difficulty so you can vary your practise according to your own needs and abilities. She starts with transition/ warm ups , then the main practise and finishes with a lovely relaxation which is a real treat . There is often a theme such as gratitude and postures which she breaks down so we can practise them over several weeks . It is an hour off from this hectic world to concentrate on rebalancing and calm . Thankyou Amy !

I have been attending Amy's amazing classes now for a number of years. Every time I leave I feel relaxed and focused - as a teacher she is attentive and patient and her classes are constantly varied. We are very lucky to have her around the corner.

I have been going to Amy's yoga classes for about 4 years. Her classes stretch me in all ways, which is what I need. I have practised yoga for many years previously in Brighton, with several teachers. I like Amy's approach to yoga and her teaching techniques. She's very welcoming, whatever a student's level. She asks for health information so that she can ensure that her teaching takes account of any physical issues a student may have. if you're considering starting yoga, or continuing with another teacher, I would fully recommend Amy's class, whatever your level or experience of yoga.
