Very friendly staff - one feels very relaxed and welcomed at the center. They do not try to sell service but are more focused on imparting info and awareness of the concept of yoga.

Open house (which is free) provides very good opportunity for a newbie to get an introduction to the science and practice of yoga. I leaned alot about yoga and mediation in those 4 hours.

The schedule of drop-in classes is also very conveniently placed through out the week - easy to workout a schedule even during week days.

The center also conducts yoga vacations usually held at scenic places in UK and globally. I really like this unique concept of being on a vacation and at the same time detoxing yr body.

Old School Proper Yoga. If anyone is confused about the millions of different brands of yoga then I would really recommend going here to get a really good feel for a simple authentic yoga practice. The first class was free (!) and the welcome was warm and friendly. The place does not hide the fact that Yoga comes out of a Hindu tradition which might put some off who are 'religiously phobic'. Lovely.

I really enjoy going here. I am a local resident and started going a month ago. Radha is my teacher for course 1 and you could not ask for a better teacher. She is patient, great at explaining and engaging. Well done Rahda. Amazing!

My only slight criticism is some of the teacher are a little less friendly or engaging. I've had one word replies to questions. I've tried to avoid those and have had a real great experience other that that. I've met some really cool people.

The yoga is non ego based unlike the vinyasa flow I've been going to and the bhagava Gita this week has been soul lifting. I recommend it. I'm excited for you if you are thinking of joining.

I have been searching for a place that teaches real yoga in London for years and have now found this perfect slice of heaven. Despite moving to 45 mins away I still come here. The teachers here are all amazingly prefessional and teaching yoga for the right reasons. They give you all the encouragment and advice you need to reach your potential without making it competitive. I recommend taking the courses, that way you learn the theory as well. Love this place, truly amazing establishment.

Om Namah Sivaya!

I feel blessed that I graduated here as a Sivanada Yoga Teacher after my Yoga TTC Teachers’ Training Course which qualifies me for the RYT200 Yoga Alliance USA Certificate.

I love the positive energy, the peaceful environment and spirituality at this centre.

In case you want to find calmness and harmony it’s a great place to recharge and rejuvenate.

I had paid for a meditation course for myself and other half (4 sessions), had informed them we weren’t able to attend the last class and if we could reschedule it another day. They told me to send an email and they would do what they can. They do not respond to any of the emails nor would they refund for the last class, or any of the sort. The First Lady we had for the course comes off aggressive and rude - we even considered cancelling the entire sessions. The second lady that came from France (I believe), she was very sweet and accommodating. I’m a born Hindu, and we practice a lot of this in my family and culture, this was an experience more for my other half who is not Indian/Hindu. There was something not right with the lady that seems to run the place.

An extraordinary class runs online on Tuesday evenings, taught by Swami Sivadasananda. This is yoga taught by somebody who has spent his life devoted to it. It is a very different experience from ordinary classes.

I attended a class at this place a few years ago. The class was good but one of the instructors after the class was extremely uptight and aggressive because I wore shorts instead of long pants which covered my legs. This place has a “cult feeling” with all it’s unwritten rules and practices. Additionally I have been reading stories about abuse at Sivananda yoga centres on the BBC which is worrying.
