I have been going to Benita's class for the past year and she is a extremely talented individual. She takes her time to explain the practice and encourages people to try some challenging moves but doesn't force them. In general she makes people feel welcomed and at ease, which is really important quality in a Yoga instructor. The sessions are different every week so you don't get bored of the same moves, which keeps you engaged and interested.
Also when I joined with Benita she encourages people to talk to each other to have more of a friendly environment.
Come and try one of her classes and you will be hooked just like I am.

I was still a little unsure after 3/4 weeks but in week 5 something clicked with me and everything Benita had been teaching us started to make sense. I have been attending Benita's classes every since. Without question every time I leave one of her classes I feel better - Physically and Mentally.
I have tried Yoga classes at my gym, the cost of which are included in my monthly subscription however I choose to return and practice with Benita. I find her classes, her instruction and the environment she creates to be of a far higher standard and more suited to what I am looking for from a yoga class.
Yoga has affected almost every aspect of my life... I am calmer, I eat better, I sleep better, I can concentrate better - In a nut shell... I feel better.
If you haven't tried yoga before then I wholeheartedly encourage it and if you have and looking for a new class then look no further than Benita.
Another bonus is the venue for the yoga class, The Boathouse studio is in a 'surprising' riverside location in Barking. There are no mirrors or stark lighting here, instead exposed brickwork and low / candle light, which adds to the experience providing a very chilled ambience. I look forward to continuing to practise yoga with Benita ;)
I have done in-person, online and one-to-one sessions with her and she’s equally brilliant in every format.
Even attending once a week made a huge difference to my mental and emotional health, physical health always followed.
Whenever I’m feeling low I know getting back in-touch will bring me home.
