Excellent studio: great location in the centre of Exeter. They have a dedicated team of experienced yoga teachers. The studio is a beautiful, light and spacious environment that is perfect for yoga practice. I have been going to derekthedog for over ten years and as well as learning all about yoga I have also made many great friends. I highly recommend.

Derekthedog yoga centre is the most warm and welcoming place. I would recommend it to anyone , beginner or yogi. Very experienced teachers offering a good range of classes, workshops and courses.
Fran looks after us all and is an excellent and intuitive teacher. She has been there for me and encouraging me to explore different areas within my yoga for at least 15 years.

Wonderful authentic Yoga Studio* It is a well designed studio which support you to develop your yoga. It is very clean, calm, warm & well-equipped. If you are thinking of taking a yoga course or class or looking for a teacher you could not do better. I have been going to Derekthedog for more than 10 years, I am highly recommended.

I have been practicing yoga for 2.5 years now with Fran at Derek the Dog and I cannot recomend this place highly enough. Classes take place in a calm and peaceful setting and class sizes are generally small. Fran has many years yoga experience which clearly shows in her teaching. She is excellent at tailoring classes to suit ability; there is something for everyone across all levels. I am a classic 'sign up to something and give it everything for about a week' kind of person but I have stuck with classes at Derek the Dog because it is so much fun and very relaxing.

I've been practising yoga at Derekthedog studio for 15 years, so that gives you a clue as to how good it is. The lovely Fran, who is endlessly inventive, Leah, Andrea and other excellent teachers make everyone feel welcome. The studio feels like it's in the sky - sunny in summer, warm in winter. and always welcoming. It safe, calm and friendly, with plenty of space to down dog and you don't even need to know who Derek was - I don't!

I absolutely love Derekthedog Yoga Studio. Ive been going for around 6 years and ive tried all the different classes. It such a beautiful building and loft space to feel relaxed and enjoy all different types of yoga. I love the yoga flow classes with Fran every Monday evening. Its an absolute must yoga studio to go to.

Derek The Dog is a brilliant yoga studio with very experienced and talented teachers. I have benefitted hugely from skilled and patient teachers who create a safe environment and know how to help students along their yoga journey. The teaching is firmly rooted in the spiritual roots of yoga. The membership fees are very reasonable and allow free access to most of the classes. Thank you to Fran and the team of teachers for giving Exeter such a unique and amazing yoga studio
