Love this place. Always friendly and the ice cream (get a posh cone lol its worth it) is to die for. Stopped here MANY a times on my bicycle travels along river with my friend. Nice quiet relaxing place to go and enjoy some natural environments. I actually go out o my way sometimes just to come here and get an ice cream and a can of drink lol

They are so helpful and great at supplying all our boating needs. Coal, gas, kindling etc all delivered with a smile and very reasonably priced.

What a lovely place! Perfect spot to call in for a nice cup of tea, a fresh cream scone, and sit there watching the ducks and boats.

Great lock where you can rest a little while when the locks are being operated. Once crossed, you can moor you boat and come back to enjoy the surroundings! Since it was hot day, we enjoyed the ice-cream from the parlour just on the locks!! Though couple of flavours were out of stock, still or was a great time to enjoy the ice-creams on a hot day!! I'll was able to see some the hops!! i.e. Made corn the gold for the beer!! I've included the photos of hops 😁

Excellent Cream Soda Floats. A walker's oasis when walking the toe path along the Stort River as it winds towards London

It had a lovely feel to it. You could watch wildlife, boats and trains while enjoing ice creams. Unfortunately, it is now closed.
