Barista

Really really disappointed, had this place booked for my 30th birthday (January) months ago, my parents went to pay the deposit the other day to be told that they would be closed in January. I have had my booking written down in their book twice (the first time it disappeared) and nobody bothered to let me know. Absolutely disgusted- all my invites had already gone out with Barista as the venue! It is unlikely at such late notice that I will be able to find somewhere else- thanks for ruining what is supposed to be an extra special birthday!

A really well done bar. Credit to the new owners I understand only just took over. Interior is good quality, comfortable and clean. Good prices for Chelmsford, great selection of drinks, outside seating area front and back! The toilets are good quality, very clean, and the staff member serving was very welcoming. All in all a fantastic atmosphere!

Great Staff, fun bar, when busy. Nice atmosphere, spacious and relaxed when less busy.

We went for a work party and hired the whole place out. The food was nice. Burgers were a massive hit. It is a small place and the dancefloor is the bar area so if you like to dance and drink it works well but if you want to talk and drink you have to kinda fight the dancefloor to get a drink or stay at the bar. There were nice places to sit away from the bar but god knows why we didn't use them. The staff were really friendly and bubbly. Probably why we all spent so much even after the company tab. Overall not a bad place.

We hired out the side bar and dancefloor for our works Christmas party. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The whole hire cost and final bar bill was also very reasonable. Special mention to Maddie who was our dedicated bartender for the evening, she was a great laugh and made sure everyone was well topped up. Would not hesitate to come back again.

Enjoyed the 90's night of music.
Place has beautiful decor and very modern toilets.

Quiet, for a Friday. Chilled out drinks. Club music as background noise.
Small outdoor seating section for lockdown. Reasonably priced drinks.
Will be back again!!!
