Mad Squirrel Tap & Bottleshop Amersham

The food has really gone downhill. I paid £7 for this pizza (see photo) which was meant to be 8 inches. Not even close. I queried it at the time, and was told that I was wrong. To cap it all, they said "this is how the bases come to us". There are now much better food options in Amersham.

Went here because it's my twin sisters local. Everyone knows everyone it seems, so it's a nice relaxed atmosphere with a genuinely warm welcome.
Also the amount of beer they have on sale here is epic! And they always seem to get new ones in. If you like beers and ales, then you need to get your arse down here, because it's like a beer nirvana. They even have that heavenly choir sound when you walk through the door....
Or was that just in my mind?
They have pizza too, with a proper pizza oven. Pricewise, it can vary. They have some gourmet beverage choices in here let me tell you. And you can get thirds! So you can have yourself a little beer/ale platter!
You're thinking about doing that now aren't you....

Great place. Lovely staff. Great range of beers and other drinks. Great music on Saturdays and Quiz on Wednesdays. Lovely outdoor seating area too with heaters. You can enjoy the music inside and out.

Great place to visit and have a beer, pizzas is good as well, pricing a bit high but worth a visit. Parking on main road sometimes you get a space other times you don't.

Great selection of beers, great service and their pizzas are really, really good!. Highly recommended!
