Cappadocia Restaurant Ashford

This place was about to open last time I stayed in Ashford so it was awesome to get to try it on my latest stopover. As a huge fan of hummus, I made the mistake of ordering a portion to 'nibble on' whilst waiting for the main to arrive. Big mistake! It was delicious and served with freshly made flatbread so I couldn't help devouring the lot! My main of mixed kebab was every bit as scrumptious and I struggled to finish all the meats.

The staff were super friendly and helpful and I loved the al-fresco dining with the retracting roof.

I will definitely be starving myself the next time I have to stay in Ashford!

Such a nice surprise to find a good Turkish restaurant outside of Turkey! Food was delicious and waitresses so nice! Good size of Procceco as well in lovely glass. Real Efes beer 🍻 from Turkey. I wish I took some pictures but I just gulped it down 😁. I have one of my baklava dessert with lovely thick creamy vanilla ice cream with fresh pistachios. Yum yum! And also important, it was really affordable! Only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars was because I didn't really like the decorations but that's just my personal opinion. We'll be back! 😃

What a shame! Long wait for food,waiting staff didn't seem to know what to do,when my food came it was cold. A group of about 8 people walked out after waiting 2 hours for food. But must admit when we did get our food it was really good, hope they get there act together soon. Probably wont go again.

Went with the family of 5 including 2 children on a Saturday evening. Service and food was good. The restaurant had a 50th birthday party in a closed off area therefore reducing the number of tables. The restaurant waa fully booked after 19:30. I would suggest booking ahead. There is a shisha lounge attached to this restaurant.

Arrived early to have drinks, had to wait a while as only 1 person serving drinks, however they were very apologetic.
Slight wait for food but it was all so good & really tasty
Will definitely be back & hopefully they will be more organised with table service - the staff were all polite & friendly

This is the second time visiting this restaurant.
It will also be the last, the service received this evening was absolutely abysmal, it took roughly 25 mins to get our drinks, the waiter took our order for starters during this time other parties were arriving after us and all were served with drinks, starters and mains before we had received anything.

Ordered 2 cocktails - worse cocktails I've ever seen and tasted.

During this time the restaurant was not busy, waitors standing about on there phones, talking to each other and we had to ask them to chase our food.

When the food did arrive everything turned up but my partners main course. When this was queried this had not even been put through to the kitchen!

My food was extremely tasty which was the only positive experience of the whole evening, we had to chase again my partners food.
When his food did arrive it wasn't worth the wait and left most of it

During this time a waiter who turned out to be the owner was doing shots with some customers.

We sat with empty plates and bowls for around 20 minutes and had to once again ask for them to be removed, there were even less people in here at this time! Waitors standing about talking!!!

The owner came over and apologised and said he would sort the meal out for us, when the bill came my partners meal was still on there, we queried this and the waiter said he would get the manager, the one who was sat doing shots!!!!

I can accept waiting for food if the restaurant is busy, I can accept waiting longer if they are short staffed but the service or lack of, that we were shown tonight ruined our evening which was a friends birthday.

Will not be returning!!!

This is a gem of a restaurant!! Beautiful Turkish food (we couldn't finish what we had as there was loads of food). Not too expensive, the staff are friendly and made us feel right at home. I would highly recommend this place.x
