3½ stars really. Acceptable Indian for a small village, but not much better than that. Pretty standard, although they do have some interesting speciality dishes, but over-reliant on food colouring especially for the tandoori. On the plus side, being in a pub means there's a better beer selection than you'd expect.

What a great place. Not open until the evening apart from occasional Fridays from 12-1430 for a grand group of senior's that have a pool afternoon.. We were lucky enough to have enjoyed those couple of hours after walking from Bozeat..

AVOID!!!!!!! Never Delivered and Never updated me to say the order had been cancelled.
I Pre ordered for a delivery at 20:45, the order was accepted, I got notification that the deliver was enroute at 20:40. At this point I understood my delivery would probably be 20 minutes late, I appreciate this being new years eve.
By 21:30 my food hadn't arrived, by this time if it had I thought it would be cold so would.
Try to call the restaurant who were avoiding all calls. Eventually get through at 21:49 asking for an update of order. To get 'all orders are cancelled and then they hung up.
Not even an apology, I mean on new years eve where else do you get a new order for Indian food. Completely ruined my night!!!!!
I would have re ordered from here again as the food is nice, if they would have just declined the order, or called my apologising earlier to say they can't keep to their commitment, that wouldn't have been a problem and I could have re ordered from elsewhere and for them not even to apologise.
Please, if you want your food on time or even delivered dont order from here!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes a lovely pub however, it has rules for some people and other rules for other people. For example, we asked if we could have kids for a party (80th) and the lady said no however, we’ve heard that there’s another party soon which is allowing kids in till closing because the lady behind the bar knows her. Not right and needs to be sorted. We couldn’t have this party here in the end due to this and had to take our business somewhere else which we didn’t want to do.
